Usually I'd suggest that was a seriously ugly frame, but in all honesty I think it looks pretty good,
Imagine it comes across stunning to people who are not as familiar with what a nice steel bike looks like

the head angle on that dosnoventa looks slack as they always do. How much is it? 73? 72?
-
• #11804
They are couplers. They allow you to split the frame in half for easier storage/transport.
Hahaha, good memory!

They're couplers, [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_Torque_Coupling[/ame]

you missed the joke, i know what couplers are.
I think i want a vigorelli.
-
• #11807
No I was perpetuating the joke. silly.
But you've ruined it now...
Well done on knowing what couplers are though :) -

Hmmm sweet sweet Dosnoventa.

these rotors seem to be the hottest hhsb cranks at the momentthis is A+, well planned components for going fast, def. porn in my case
-
• #11810
too rad for porn. They can keep rubbing dust off their vintage catalogue road bikes.
-
• #11811
yeah theyd be bitching about the seat being to forward or some other bull. i think its a great build

Flash isn't kind to the Planet X 6 posts up, but then again, neither is that stem.
I don't like the blue on my histogram Mash
A) Is it possible to buy decals to place over the top of the existing ones, in a different colour?
B) Shall I just hand paint the colour out? Say in black
C) Shall I just respray the whole frame bright pink?Asking in here because my hope is to move towards maximum radness.
-
• #11813
Hot pink to sparkly purple fadez?
-
• #11814
Option C obviously.
-
• #11815
I like the dosnoventa but the graphics are terrible on it.
-
• #11816
i think if your faded the current black to pink itd look boss....

Both of these bikes have had the clearances / geometry ruined by swapping out forks! -
• #11818
yeah I have actually.
not safe brakeless.
how's that?
Heard they unclip quite easy? Are they a MTB pedal mainly?

Eggbeaters = good for commuting on a non-fixed bike due to easy clipping in and out.
Not good when you're fixed and pushing out of the saddle.
That was a week and a half a go and I'm still not able to bend my legs far enough to ride.

^^^
Eggbeaters are the worst pedals to ride fixed on the streets with.
The best pedals are time Atac (MTB) or Look Keo (Road)...

pretty sure the Ellsworth needs 650 front

my gara now has different clearances/geo after fork swap (came with the Tifosi Carbon fork), but I wouldn't say ruined, as it now barspins (easy to lock up) and feels well planted.

How often do you barspin?
Tifosi is always worth upgrading from in my opinion. ;)
-
• #11823
I don't (and it only does it with risers) but half a barspin is useful for locking front wheel to downtube and a pole when I have a deep rim on the front.

I'll add Classic Look Delta to that list (black cleats preferably)
