I might be able to as well, if it's relatively central.
Has everyone running got their race numbers? I don't want to sound too much like a parent but I reckon it's the thing I was most likely to forget and thought others might do the same.
Got 2 almond slices and a coconut slice from the Beigel Bake this morning, that should be the fuel I need.

Good idea! I put mine in a "safe place" so I'm going to start the hunt for it now instead of doing it at 4am.

Awesome! My cheap brush cross threaded and tore apart when I tried to screw the rod in. They're going straight back to B&Q for a refund on Monday!

Can someone bring a couple of spare cable ties for brush-to-bike attachment?
I used my last ones fitting my girlfriend's basket.

I'm very late to this, only found out this ride was happening yesterday. Dont really have the full idea of what its about, but is it possible just to come along on the bike ride and then bail at Oxford on an early train home?
I'd have to head back to London as I have a good bit of stuff to do tomorrow during the day, wouldnt be able to go running or boozing.I could meet Poots at 4:20am in Wandsworth.
If this isnt cool then no worries - honestly, dont feel bad about saying no. -

I just bought provisions for tomorrow, including:
-safety pins for attaching race number (enough for everyone)
-a LOT of snacks. I hope you all like snacks.
-bottle of port (this was a bit of a last minute decision and might be for post-race only...)See you all tomorrow!
dublinkevin, I'm sure that'd be fine but best to liaise with other riders. And I hope you know the words to Chim-chiminee...

Actually, its alright, I havent been involved at all with it, feel a bit cheap jumping only half-in at the last minute; plus have stuff to do in the morning. Have fun - hope it goes well for you.

Dry and still, but pretty chilly.
Wrap up folks, and see ewes all shortly.
Good luck team, and texts only, until we get to Oxford.

Thanks to massive paranoia about traffic (on a Sunday morning...), I got a super early coach and have already been in Oxford for half an hour.
Hope the magnificent 7 are doing well and looking forward to a good old cockney knees up when you all arrive!

I think this just about covers the heroic efforts made by runners and riders alike.

A day of days.
The forum at its magnificent best. Hats, the prettiest runner in Oxford by a country mile, and the most amazing company and support.
Pictures and joined up speaking to follow in. Next few days. Oh, and our very own SpG Hoops wandering along Broad Street.

What a brilliant day. You're all amazing - especially Bernie and Alan for keeping me going during the run.
Not sure why I thought I could ride back, just as well I didn't attempt it as the moment I got on the coach I fell asleep and drooled on the seat (classy).
Oh, and it turns out the reason I couldn't get strava to show me the mile-by-mile for the run is that I recorded the run as a ride. Oops.
Thanks everyone for a brilliant day!

The more "exotic" ones with some of the boys, and Hat's hat, will be going on an X rated pay per view site.
I am certain we can get the fund raising up to £10,000...

What a day! Just got in after a three hour odyssey back from Oxford, I am definitely getting a cold, I left my kneecaps somewhere in rural Oxfordshire on the way, and I'm exhausted. But had an amazing time. Thanks to everyone who we rode in with, to the Watlington crew for turning out en masse with cake and drinks, and especially to Bernie, organiser extraordinaire.
I managed to do the 10k in 1hr 2mins and 33secs, which I'm pleased with considering the ride I'd just come off.
