It's for wimps who haven't got the balls to race at Crystal Palace.

Yes.

Pay a fiver, taz round until 8pm.
There was a chap there with a stunning Look time trial bike, which I assume he was setting up as he was circling very slowly.

Minor epic fail in the BG, helmet position on the guy in the white jersey. I hope you mentioned it.

Not been out on it yet, got the wheels home last night.
I'm expecting a version of constant downhill.

As far as CdA goes,
Zipps + EEBrakes = Shimano RS30s + TriRigs -
• #790
which ones stop better? which ones weigh less?
-
• #791
Probably the EEBrake, they're about 200g aren't they? TriRigs are about 240g.
But Neil's a tester now, so CdA trumps everything.

The front EE brake may be a collection of spars and struts, but it does sit neatly in front of the head tube with nothing hanging out in the breeze to the side.
I have chosen these wheels with aerodynamic gains in mind- they are heavier than the old ones by a fair amount.

Very interested to see how these wheels compare to the Open Pro's.
Sadly I'm not going to be in a position to make that comparison for a while, but I will report back when I have done so.
Anyone care to hazard an educated guess?
If we say 275 watt average for the 10 miles, what would the expected time difference be with the 404/808 pair vs box section alloy clinchers?

16s

Only because the head tube is so damn fat. Will be interesting to see Dr Coggan's final results (due soon, now that production TriRigs are out), but I'm not sure whether he ever got hold of an EE to test..

16 seconds? Looks like I need to do a lot more work on the engine then.

Trick forks are the future of aero

• #798
sadly, i reckon my engine is the place where i can get the greatest improvements at the lowest cost.

Trick forks are the future of aero
they look like rigid carbon mtb forks

Wow even wider
Yeah, I was thinking about that- based on this the performance is about equal, 50mm carbon and Open Pro. The carbon wheels are a lot lighter mind you.
