Keep the 3T stem it looks much better, especially without the massive conical spacer.

so has this gone from building a light bike that fits, to what spacer stack looks coolest?

Just playing around James to see what it looks like.
I'll give it a spin like this just to see what it feels like, but I suspect that it'll go back to the old setup.

I doubt anyone will ever weigh it, the 6.8 was a personal target I set myself.
Ow right :) just sempt strange to want to add weight back on to keep it at 6.8. But that's still probably 1 or 2kg lighter than mine :/

If you decide you prefer the original, I'll offer you what you paid for the Arx...

I'll put it on my Langster if I don't use it on the road bike.

Surely at that height it's too low for you?
That stem with 2-3 spacers below it will fit you properly? No point it looking great if it's shit to ride. Function over form if you can't do both.

Now that you've hit the 6.8 target I think you should go for the full weenie and go as light as possible.

don't listen to the haters. I'm quite a fan of the donkey cock, new stem is boring. and I don't understand why slamming a stem is the be all and end all to some.
/3 of 5 bikes slammed, 5 of 5 bikes fit. -

Agree with above about slamming. Just put spacers in. Anyway, can't judge aesthetics until we see a full drive side shot.

This exercise is all about seeing what it looks like- function is sitting in the corner crying.

6.65 with this stem, 6.7 with the "Donkey Cock"
It's light enough.

Saw a system six on my commute this morning - didn't realise how huge the tubes are, particularly HT and DT. Nice looking frame mind

I'll send it to Dov for sanding.
