  • 73 head 0 rake 700c x 1.35" = 105mm trail, so aim for 45mm.

  • nailed it rob, merry xmas. x

  • Are Dicta freewheels made of cheese? I'm not forking out on a Token.

For my single speed commuter, not polo.

  • fixei4lyf bro

  • I broke two in the space of six months before finding somewhere that stocked a sturmey archer 22t, which survived another six before being upgraded after it started slipping occasionally

  • Spend a few quid and get a trials freewheel...

Having said that, I've always rated Shimano BMX freewheels, especially if it's for a commuter... Lori has one on her Pompino and it runs great...

  • Shimano ones have never let me down in the past, the tooth counts available are limited though.

  • maybe I'll get a Shimano. There's some rank clanking noises coming from my old one.

  • how many teeth you want nesbit? I have a spare or two I think in my parts box

  • 16 tooth ideally, don't really want it too spinny.

  • How much of a rush is it? Got a spare 16 in the house I don't live in anymore... Should be picking it and a bunch of other stuff up mid April?

  • it'll be fine for you in my experience mark. I had a 23t dicta for about a year and ahalf on polo bike. No problems, I even took it off to re-build wheel three times. The last time was the killer for it though.

  • Cheers B.

Kev, you find any? Otherwise, Louis, might grab that off you. Just hoping the old one doesn't give up before.

  • I'll have a look tonight

  • Shimano 17t nesbit, you want?

You can collect from Bermondsey tonight or tomorrow night, or from Elephant & Castle tomorrow during the day. I'm going to Ireland on Saturday for a week.

A friend asked me to see if anyone is looking for a job!

  • Not polo bike but.. I got hit by a car today on my ride to work. I'm fine but bike is a bit fucked- wheel and derailleur, plus I wanna get the frame checked out.
Anyone got any recommendations for good bike shops near Finsbury Park to drop it at? Is Push on Newington Gardens still the go to place?

  • Fuck man, hope you're okay.

IIRC Push are still awesome to polo people. I'm a soufie though so not as current on their happenings.

  • Glad you're OK man.

  • Glad to hear you're ok dude, no bike parts to offer but I hope you can get it sorted asap

  • Fucking drivers can't get anything right.

    Push are great.

  • Hopef no need for parts, he said he's gonna pay, lets see what happens

  • Are there any other v brakes where the cable can be switched between sides?

  • Paul Motolites...

^ Those are awesome tho', recommended...

  • Is there any freewheels out there that have two cogs with say 3 or more teeth difference. My current rear is a single sided up and I'd like to rock a commuter gear as well as polo.

Seen the white industries freewheel and This ricta one both are small increments (2 teeth or less) due to I guess ppl wanting to use a deraileur
