There were comments on the forum at work (a FTSE 100 company) about cyclists paying road tax. One chap was cut up by a "helmetless tawt"- his words. I pointed out helmets weren't compulsory and I don't wear one. The chap's response was "I hope a car runs over your head and scrapes your face off". I complained to the forum moderators, they said "Well, the thread got heated". I complained to HR, the chap had to sign a form saying he wouldn't behave like that again. There were other comments about running cyclists over and about how cyclists using helmet cams were "entrapping" drivers, I gave up.
Whenever anyone mentions road tax and cyclists I get killy.

I was actually considering getting a trailer and fold up step ladders, but getting my tools stolen would be as bad as gettin my bike pinched.

Sorry, this is a bit rank:
Getting really snotty, especially in a cold headwind. Sometimes I even choke on my mucus. Is this because of lack of water intake, or is it generally due to poor fitness?

In my esteemed position as a Medikal Doktah I suggest that rhinitus or other similar allergy could be at play.

It's just the cold air , the air has a sort of drying effect on the airways. So your body responds by producing mucus to reduce water loss. Also the cold air irritates the muscles in the airways causing them to contract , therefore it is harder to breathe.
I think. please correct if im wrong.
