I was just amused at missmouse's post of "style and celebrity" in the context of Made In Chelsea.
Why is everyone so sensitive these days?

^ that I saw this a.m. AWESOME.
ON A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT NOTE, Traditional Cycles had just informed me that someone on the Tweed Run claimed Photoben's Bike (on his behalf) that he loaned to Xander for the day...
Ben doesn't know who that is, neither do I - can you please get in touch? Also, the bag of locks I personally borrowed from LMNH has gone missing. Did anyone pick it up? I really do not relish having to cough up for 6 kryptonites..
Lastly, the total raised for charity should be going up on the site today along with Photoben's photos if you're interested... I've seen them and he did a FANTASTIC job.

thank you jackie and teddy and all involved i had a great time. as always at the end i wanted more, which is good feeling.
I can clearly see a cycle path in the background, why are all trese cyclists using the roadway?

Hope you get it back Ben, and it was a mix up.
Looking forward to the shots. -

The concept of a 'roadway' doesn't exist in British English; it's called the 'carriageway' over here. Also, cycle lanes (not paths) are generally found in the carriageway.
In this case, it would also seem as if the cycle lane in the background is the one in the opposite direction to the way in which the riders are going. :)

Ah, I see. Thank you for the thourough explanation.
It would also seem that the elevated gentleman in the photograph is not wearing his seatbelt!

no word on the bike?
Oh was he on it? His shop is just over the bridge from my place and I often have my face pressed to the glass.
