I Not a huge a fan of the response from the button's though - Needs more of a positive feel.
I read that the upcoming Campagnolo electronic stuff will use something very similar to the current ergo-shifter.

Bit of an odd time though, gen #2 Dura Ace Di2 will be 11 speed and CAN bus, presumably.
So the Ultegra Di2 is technically more advanced than the DA, but that makes the DA easier to hack right now, as you don't need an authentication chip for the signalling or battery.

Hydro shifting with Acros?
-
• #57
What's Acros got to do with Garmin-Fish though?
-
• #58
Rumour was that Magura would use their expertise for the brakes, and a partnership with Acros for the shifting, as Acros have a working, patented and very well received MTB group currently in production (albeit very expensive and small scale).

I think the Magura product will be a hydraulic brake for time trial bikes, not a complete groupset.

I read that article but what does it have to do in particular with Garmin-Fish?

Advantages? Can they make them smaller/more aero or something?
-
• #62
I'd guess that without tight cable runs degrading performance they can make an aero brake that actually works.

OT: Someone else is trying to do that (tester hangs out on tri forums not me):

I'd like to run the wires for my SRM internally, however this would require putting a hole in the bottom bracket, and one in the headtube.
SRM include a (very brief) guide on doing this, as it is their recommended method, but I freely admit to finding the prospect a bit intimidating.
Has anyone done this themselves?
EDIT Like so:

Has the UCI already banned that?

The bike only came out, they will wait until someone breaks a record on it :)
Fully approved by UCI according to this article

Also, 1 year exclusive deal with Garmin-Barracuda.

It's a bit meh.

Considering it's for TT use, it's a bit err lumpy. Exposed spring, cutouts on the sides, etc.

Calfee going for it..

I was looking at 6 and 7.
Front profile is good though.
