That's the one I have- somewhat annoyingly I paid 144 euro for mine.
You will need a specific charger, junction box and wiring harness to use that.

But then you can do the firmware update to multi-shift, and adjust the shift speed, change the buttons around etc.
-
• #405
Yep, that covers it well.

Lever look even thinner, where's the battery?

^^ I like the wireless brakes

I like the wireless chain even more.

• #410
On a more serious note, now that we are moving to hydraulic braking, could you in theory just have a small piston incorporated into the brake itself, as opposed to being in the hoods of the levers?
-
• #411
Already exist, TRP did it with their (if I understood you correctly).
-
• #412
Oh yeah, that was standard cable pull to the brakes though?
-
• #413
Ah flipping the hydro the other way round, like a Rohloff.

It's the new Shimano Rectal-power battery insert.

That Dave Branalsford has a lot to answer for.
So, what about Ultegra Di2 bits merged (hell yeah) with the DA time trial Di2 stuff? With Canbus in 2013 DA Di2 that should be doable yeah? Or do a Wiggo and stick with mechanical..

Canyon Speedmax 8.0+9.0 have the DA TT shifters with Ultegra derailleurs

Sick mate. Fully.
Can you tell I'm having second thoughts about dropping lost of cash on a bike that will be ridden in this wet, pothole-riddled country... le sigh..

^ day one is getting 853?!
Then it sounds about right, wish they made frames in midget sizes or at least more variations. Their smallest frame is a little big for me :(
If shimano releases hydraulic shifters for Alfine thats a perfect bike right there.

The current Day One Alfine (11) is also 853.
If you want hydro, just get the TRP HY/RD.
link please? This seems decent
