  • All, I nominate itsbruce.

Finally, this week I am trying to bloomin send a cheque as I've not done my subs. Have agreed to pay JaRyder's and Object's. Question to all: Does anyone else need me to send their sub's? please let me know sharpish, you must send me your name and and address if so. I'll collect from you at some point.

Also I'm ordering two copies of the book too, to share around. Is this adequate?

Furthermore, I'm asking Charles to send me a jersey, does anyone want me to get one for them too? If you don't like you'd just need to return it to him, as you only have to pay later once you've tried it on, £35 each.

    small (40”), medium (42’’) ,large (44”),
    extra large (46”

Please hit me up in the next day or so.

    Skulls

  • Uh? Ah, well, I'm not working this week (or next, most likely), so I have time to prepare for it. Oki. Al, want to send me on any notes you have?

  • skully
large jersey is too tight and short for me

    it measures
    49cm armpit to armpit
66cm top of collar to waist hem..

i need to replace it for XL

no notes for meeting, only what's been posted on this thread

    Al x

  • Al, yes, I'm pretty much XL or more in most cycle things. I don't really do the saveloy look. I'm asking Charles for a Med for JaRyder and XL for me, I think the L won't fit me either.

  • Looks like I'll need a large now based on Al's feedback.

  • Might be able to make this.

I found my jersey was an odd shape, cut for someone wider and shorter than me. Collar is too high, as well...

  • There are also sew on badges based on an old London pattern, I was going to buy some on general principles and bring them along Monday, who wants? (£5 ea)...

  • Let me know Guys, I'll collect tomorrow...

  • Yep!

  • Looks like I'll need a large now based on Al's feedback.

    Too late.
Ask Al for Large, return Med, pay for Large?

  • Hope we're all still on for tomorrow! I will be there at about 6. I won't be able to bring books for the shelf in LMNH this time.

  • Sorry. I had hoped to make it this time, as it's so close to work, but I have to meet someone in Herne Hill.

    Soon, mind...

  • I'll be there at 6pm

  • Looks like I'll need a large now based on Al's feedback.
i have large jersey and can bring it to leon tonight if you wish. let me know, i can't stay long, wifey has abandoned me to babysit tonight while she faffs about with her stage set 'damages' playing at the bridewell theatre from tomorrow.. best al

  • As I posted I think I might be going

  • I knew you were going...See you there

  • I'll be there. yacf jersey, I'm afraid, but I will be there.

  • Been without a net connection for a day. Will post minutes this evening

  • OK, minutes of the meeting on 20th of Feb in Leon (Farringdon)

Present: Digger, itsbruce, almac68, Zebra Cyclist, JaRyder, Wen Jian

    Subs

Please can everybody get their subs in to the national club, now? Please also buy shirts if you can spare the cash (itsbruce and Digger fit a Large shirt, Al an XL, if that's any help as a guide).

We discussed having local subs but decided that these are not necessary until such time as we actually have something to spend it on. We also don't need a treasurer until we actually raise some money.

    Badges
We're going with the old London design. Al is going to clean it up and add a 2011 reference. Action point there for Al.

    LCEF

Plan is to raise money for them by organising a ride and selling spoke cards (and maybe badges). Wen Jian is going to research a route, but we are all encouraged to do some research for relevant locations in and around London, particularly ones with a connection to the International Brigades.

We also need to pick a suitable date. 1st of May was discussed, but may compete with too much else. Again, historical research for a meaningful date is encouraged.
    **
    Any Other Business**
Digger is going to work on a cap design. Suggestion was black cap with a central ribbon of the three club colours, maybe with a motif.

Next meeting at the Coach and Horses - itsbruce to organise.

  • Thanks bruce!

    JaRyder
Have a shirt for you (med) which, as you say, may not fit. Did you take Al's Large jersey?

  • Also just recieved a couple of copies of the last newsletter, if anyone would like one.

  • A cap would be a great option!

    Thanks for the minutes, Bruce.

  • My Large jersey is with bruce..
i need to order an XL..
    too many pies over winter

  • Hey Skully,
Can I send it back for an X-Large? Not keen on the saveloy look...
    Would like a newsletter ta.
    I'll be there next week.
