On dates the dates booked for the film society ar
Adam so those dates you posted^ are your film nights? So the roll call for venues so far is:
**Leon Ludgate Circus
LMNH
C&H clapham
**
Any More?My vote is for Leon Ludgate, due to centralty and space. Happy to try another central venue. Would Conway Hall at Red Lion Sq give us a spot? It'd be nice to get away from beer (keeps the meetings short!)
mon 06th feb
mon 14th feb
mon 05th mar
mon 19th mar
mon 02nd apr
mon 16th apr
mon 30th apr
mon 21st mayAl's suggestions^ I'm happy with these.

• #242
Thanks Skully, you've got a reply.
-
• #243
i need to order a jersey.. and we need that london clarion logo artwork
so i can order sew on badges for us all to add across the shoulders..we'll be like hell's angels on pedals
-
• #244
yes to leon at ludgate circus.. it has a che guevara feel to the place.
-
• #245
Skully,
Yes those are the film nights for the coming year
On venue my vote is for C&H Clapham though it is miles and miles out of my way. I known LMNH is Diggers favourite but it is a really crap place to hold a meeting or show a film for that matter. Leon is fine for location only.

Adam - I agree with all your points about venue, would really prefer C&H, but presumed Ludgate better for general attenance. Happy to go with C&H, natch.
Let's see if anyone comes up with another suggestion.
-
• #247
I'm happy with the dates Skully posted ^^^^^^
C&H Clapham is do-able for me, just about, though I'd prefer somewhere more central.
-
• #248
The C&H, despite having a separate room, and LMNH are always going to be distracting.
I don't know Leon so can't comment. There's a cafe in Golden Square which does really good coffee and although they don't have a separate room it's never been very busy when I've been there of an evening. There are also railings outside that can be locked to. http://www.nordicbakery.com/
Could be worth a look? -
• #249
Skully, cheers. PM'd you.
C&H is perfect for me a I'm just round the corner. If we didn't leave the separate room we'd be OK?Happy with anywhere central too.
Anything as long as it's not North.....Obree was just great. A real gent as well as a legend.
His BBC Hard Talk interview is a must watch too.
His stance on Drugs in cycling and David Millar in the Olympics absolutely spot on I reckon.
Interesting about his boozing too. -
