That's nice to hear and I like the language very much too. But it's kind of a national joke that we are quite quiet, don't know how to small talk, mostly just don't say anything etc.

I'll have a ponder about it over a few beers. Current main bike is near enough what you're riding now with bigger tyres so reckon ideal, but I've never ridden for a single purpose or competitively, so not sure how to mentally prepare really.

I only did TABR and TCR this year because I was going to be leaving. In the end I got a new boss and hung around but I'd still entered both races so fuck them. :)

Spent yesterday evening drooling over pics and videos of SRMR. It really looks spectacular. Seriously thinking about it now instead of trying for TCR.

I've put in an application. It sounds epic, and also a bit scary. And as there is no sign of TCR so far, I don't want to leave it too late: this closes on the 31st. It now looks like it is going to be oversubscribed so I can't be certain of getting a place in any case.

From the little communication I've had with them, seems to be massively so. Not sure they expected the amount of interest really. Reckon they're going to priorities those with viable experience over first timers to see how doable it is. We shall see.
