UPS are still bossing it, but you know it's cold as he's wearing long trousers.
The postie (foot delivery) is still rocking shorts though; not even wearing long socks!

Well that would be quite useful at the moment

Will the next day Hermes beat the now 5 day old Hermes delivery. Given it’s energy gels over a down jacket I’m going yes.

Seller still hasn't marked stuff as dispatched. I have zero patience. Give it til Monday I suppose.

Ebuyer use Yodel wish I'd known that before pulling the trigger on two monitors...
Yodel status we are waiting on your package, then the estimated delivery is the 9th which I believe is today.

Could be worse. Still waiting on the ebay parcel paid for before the snow came down, which was apparently sent on Tuesday (a week after purchase) and "should arrive by the end of the week" which I believe is today - with no response from seller regarding tracking. Was supposed to be sent via Hermes.
And then a second damn seller sent something Hermes, but at least I see the tracking info on that second train-wreck.

Yes. They are utter shite. Been waiting for a case of beer for Saturday. I doubt it will arrive. Delivery on or before the 9th... Ok.

So I see the yodel dude pull on Saturday, gets out of van, gets packages out van goes to a neighbour then comes to me, without packages pops note through door saying your weren't in and they are with your neighbours. Call him out much to his surprise. To be fair he did apologise and said it was quicker to give all the packages to one person and let people go to them.....

Zero surprise.
The Hermes-sent buckles turned up somehow, in a very damaged delivery bag on Saturday. Returned home to them under the bench. Why the seller didn't chuck them in a box I don't know.
Pot luck on how the other delivery arrives.

Who the hell organises Amazon deliveries?
Been watching the tracking site for a delivery that’s due today, driver was at the end of my road with 2 stops to make before me about a half hour ago, now they’re on the other side of Glasgow with “a few extra deliveries to make” before I’ll get mine. How is that in any way efficient? -

Have you checked behind/in your bins?

Delivery guy eventually showed up. Seems he was sent clean across the city then returned to where he’d left off.
Bizarre way of doing things.

Has DPD been becoming more shit recently? Used to find them fairly reliable but the last couple of times I've gone to rearrange delivery they straight up didn't bother delivering on the day I'd chosen. I got a notification on Monday evening they were going to deliver a parcel I'd been waiting for from France on Tuesday; I knew I'd be working until late so I asked for it to go to a pickup shop instead so I could grab it on my way home. Get another text saying 'no problem, you can pick it up after 12:00'. Then... they just didn't do it. The tracking just says it's still in Enfield and when I called this morning it put me on hold until I gave up and went to make breakfast, and now when I call they've removed the option to speak to a human that was there before as if I've offended the machine by hanging up before.
This would be a minor annoyance normally but it's my wife's birthday present for next week and we're going away to Spain this evening, so they've fucked that right up for me.

Ordered a hoodie from M&S, chose Friday as the delivery day (Royal Mail). Friday morning I'm at home and get a text saying they just tried to deliver it. No one rang the bell, no card has been left. Have a 'live chat' with M&S (it's literally impossible to contact RM) and am told it will be redelivered the next day as 'the van is no longer in the area'.
A few hours later, after watching the cycling, I go out in to the hall and there's a card from RM saying they tried to deliver and it will be at the local sorting office from tomorrow. It's possible I fell asleep at some point in the afternoon.
The next day I get a text from DPD (???) saying they will deliver my package between 1 and 2. Which they do.
I still have the card from RM so go to the sorting office today and, sure enough, the original package is there. So I now have two hoodies for the price of one and the postage refunded. I'm going to leave the second one unopened for a while and see if M&S notice.
Ironically I only bought from M&S because the one I ordered from Uniqlo got lost by Hermes after a similar 'we tried to deliver but you weren't in' farrago. -

Parcelfarce have held my near-zero valued parcel from Japan hostage for two weeks now, and only just stating they want fees paid. Now I must wait for the damn slip in the post.
Last time this happened they delivered the slip to the wrong postcode
-

Feels like it's a lottery with Parcelforce and things from Japan. I've had purchases worth less than £20 whacked with a fee and have had to wait for the slip for days while things worth £90 somehow just arrived at my house with no fuss.

Especially when it takes them more than 10 days after arriving into the UK, and you get stung with more admin fee than vat.

Mines a down jacket, quite frustrating!
