A former foster brother of mine was subject to a mock-kneecapping for joyriding. Two guys in balaclavas came round his house, took him to an alleyway, guns pointed at him the whole way. That's weird. Found it on the Most Read column on the beeb news home page.

The 'man had sex with bicycle' story was also on there last week and then on here and Facebook etc. It would be cynical to suggest that the beeb has found a way to increase clicks by putting old, but sensational, stories in their 'most read' section.

Especially when it's the other way around; someone dregs up a story that's old but funny into social media, aggregators like reddit or whatever and the resultant click storm from people who were unborn at the time, or not paying attention, pushes it up the beeb most read

You'd think so but the same attitude of no trials and working by rumours has lead to people being burnt out of their houses for f-all.

Mate of mine had his door kicked in as people want his council house. Small street. Nobody knows nahim. Yeah right. Not the way to go.
