Lordy - that's totally NSFW

They look appetising but i feel the 'chips' part is redundant

Section 17 of PACE would have allowed them to force entry to save life or limb
Let me tell you how annoying it is when you take your elderly mother on holiday for a few days, only to return to find a neighbour asked the police for a 'welfare check', there is no longer a front door, a hall full of tiny fragments of broken glass, you have to pay hundreds on the spot just to get the boarding-up cowboys to open it up, wait 6 weeks for a new door, end up hundreds out of pocket for insurance excess, and the concerned neighbour never even identifies themselves.
Oh and a year later the crappy replacement lock fails and it's hundreds more for a locksmith callout and replacement.

A simple ‘We are on holiday’ note on the front door would have solved all your problems.

That probably would also have resulted in the kicked in door or smashed window with the added benefit of all of your valuable possessions being relinquished from your ownership

Please tell me you’re joking

Anyone know if you can advise the cops in advance? In cases where someone wants to ‘disappear’ I know they can share their intention with the police, precisely to avoid the whole manhunt/welfare check issue.
For elderly relatives who live alone it might be possible?

TBH, I thought a wink emoji wasn’t needed but ok...
A simple ‘We are on holiday’ note on the front door would have solved all your problems.😉
But seriously folks, not a funny situation. My sympathy. I was broken in to at Christmas and returned home a week later. Really digs deep at you to think someone’s been in your home.

Kinda does if you are known here but I guess I’m out on the fringe. I lost my ID (Kernowdreamer) and no idea how to get it back.

Identity is based on email address... You're signed in using a Gmail account right now, but the old account was using an account provided by your ISP/telco provider.
I can associate the Gmail to your old account if you want (essentially swap the emails around so your new email is against your original account).

Didn't think it was needed.

maybe just a sign of old age but I can't make sense of the prices for these products. In the case of Greggs why even advertise that? Is that some kind of honest marketing or how terrifying is the the actual pizza slice you get in store?

You've got to fight that drink though so might not be worth it.

I like how none of the depth perspective angles match. Giving consumers an uncanny feeling when they’re expecting another simple feel good ad is a stroke of genius.
