Anyone know what bearings I need for a HeadFit headset on a 586SL? Circlip version rather than pin.

Still no word from Look on the Headfit headset. Tried to take it apart on Friday but gave up after reaching a bearing-wont-fit-over-the-bit-it-needs-to-fit-over-to-allow-fork-to-be-removed style impasse.

From what I could see the bearings are fine though. Guess my click-creak is coming from somewhere else.

Handlebar/stem clamp area if the creak is coming from the front?

Could be BB, headset, QRs, handlebars, cracked frame…. 🤷🏽‍♀️

One hopes it isn’t the last one…

@dbr worth trying to contact info@lookcycle.com again as they have always been really useful whenever I’ve needed to find some arcane info about older Look frames and they’ve normally been very quick to respond

Nah, mine is Headfit 1. This diagram shows the threaded part I thought was bonded actually comes off the fork so that’s what I couldn’t figure out.
