I might also get a slamthatstem via @gbj_tester
Get the full kit, I don't need slammed on my 585 but slam cover and one of my 16mm spacers is lighter than the OE carbon cone, and of course the top cap keeps the logo count up to spec

Can I get one of these top caps!? Actually two? Also need a slam cover for a 565 (same as a 585) and also one for a 785 but I'll need to measure that one first.

(Bar the saddle and white outers IMHO, but my opinion is irrelevant…)

Haha. Saddle is Scheritt approved so I’m sticking with it! RE the outers what would you suggest as an alternative? I was toying with orange or pink gear/purple brake but white seemed a bit of a safer bet? Black cables too dull for words…

Prompted by this thread I took mine out on some errands this evening for the first time in maybe half a decade. The ~10 year old lizardskins on it is turning to sticky sticky dust, lovely.

Yeah, it's obviously designed to be right lever for rear.
Thought it was the yanks that used the brakes that way, not us Euros -

Hey all, anyone have any info on the sort of bottom bracket that fits a kg241 frame?

Should this bit of cable be in housing or sheathed at all or is it ok to run through the frame like this?

Looks like it's going to saw your frame in half

I think it looks more dramatic in the photo than it is IRL. But is that a yes to sheathing then? Anyone else with a 595 able to share their wisdom?

Cheers. I use the same stuff on my steel Serotta, I’ll see if I can grab a short length from my LBS in the morn
I have just put this 595 together, with Chorus/Record 11 speed. I’ve yet to set saddle fore/aft and dial the position properly, and of course I need to chop the steerer. I might also get a slamthatstem via @gbj_tester but will give it a few test rides first. Please ignore the green and yellow electric tape, I could t find any black in my flat
