You're not doing Brighton then? :(

Having had a few words with Skive, I'm putting my name forwards to lead/navigate this ride.
Anybody fancy garminating/studying the route to give me some support should something go awry?
-
• #35
once your on the country lanes it's relatively straight forward.
gutted to have to miss this.
-
• #36
We'll raise a beer to you Skive
thanks.
i'll pretend my legs are tired in sympathy!

+1
Not sure I'll be able to fill Steve's very capable boots but I'll try to unclip both feet on a downhill and pull the superman pose in the form of a salute.

I can have the route on my HTC as a back-up. Not familiar with the route, though, so I don't know how much use that is, unless we get lost.
-
• #39
Stonehenge since you're pulling a Skive, I'll try my best for a Do a Crash 'Henge moment. That leaves it to itsbruce to imitate an American and be a quarter retarded for the duration of the ride

I'm thinking about this, need something to focus on.
Not adding though, I'm so flaky. Small group could be ace too.

Work arrangements appear to have swung in my favour.
I rode to St Margarets from London via Dover two years ago and my memory of the route we took is of constant steep ups and downs and one very long uphill into Wye.
It was tough but beautiful. France is visible from the White cliffs on a clear day.- Daniel
