I'm not totally sure who knows who coming on this ride...I think it'll be fairly obvious who we are are at Clapham Common. I'll be the girl in the forum cap with short hair, short skirt, painted nails and ink, looking a bit nervous that I'm going to balls the ride up massively and lead everyone astray. Possibly both literally and metaphorically. Good times!

I forgot about the skirt! Mad dash to TKMax at lunchtime then :-). Red nails and mascara. Anybody bringing eyeliner? Can I borrow? LOL

I'm going to be staying in Brighton. Boo! To miss beers, but I reckon I'll have a bit of fun in Brighton!

Absolutely...I wish I was coming with but I'm also looking forward to some hills to St M.

Anyway I rode to Brighton last Friday (and back) so I don't feel like I'm missing out on the route, just the fun and games.

I'm half tempted to dress in tweed for this ride...

I'll donate a tenner to WfW if you ride fixed to Brighton in 27 degree heat in full tweed.

I do however refuse to accept responsibility for any medical problems you may encounter!

Hurrah! Re-recce a success and am feeling way more happy about leading us out of London.

I also noted that there are bright pink triangle signposting some of the route, that I think must be left over from the Heart radio fundraiser night ride to Brighton a few weeks ago.

PM's in it's way people...NB we want to leave as on time as possible as the 1st couple of miles out of London aren't the nicest and it would be good to get them out of the way as soon as poss.

Woo! Really looking forward to this, especially now I'm feeling way less nervous!

You'll all make Ditchling your bitchling just don't forget to have an icecream at the top.

Any minor discomforts you experience on the way will melt away as you descend down the other side into Brighton. That descent is worth the ride on its own and you'll be grinning like an idiot as you do it...
