Hand on the fence, barriers has to go.
Also, what happened to the hand on the goal rule?
-
• #528
I omitted it probably (I'm a secret fan of hands on goals)?
It was probably missing from the original NAH rules I used, it should go back in...

That picture is potato-chopped. I wasn't even there. This is a fit up.
I'm a little late, but wanted to say what a great day it was. I had a lot of fun playing with H and Trevor. Well done the Johns and everyone else for putting in the effort and making it happen. Some quality skills on court. Also great to see new teams like the Canterbury Commies, who got schooled every game and still went away smiling. Polo love!

Ban John H, probably Iain also.

BFFCOMM - enforcing arbitrary & unfair decisions after the fact since 2010.

How is this enforced?
Is it simply a tap out if you place your hand on the wall? Would this also apply to feet, elbows and shoulders?

Only now you decide to invoke the chevrons?

No advantage accrued, so I invoked the delayed penalty.

are rules for london only or do us outsiders get to have any input?
-
• #538
LHBPA rules and anyone can be an LHBPA member regardless of geography.
Note: We're likely to be following the NAH ruleset for next season (Bill is LHBPA rules officer dude and is trying to get input for the NAH rules discussion).

Aren't you suspended from all polo due to gross misconduct towards my lighters?

Release the chevrons.
-
• #541
You need to invoke them first...

• #542
cool, been meaning to join that for a bit, who do I give money to?

John H then usually gets in touch to say "Hi" and give you the golden handshake.

I have a dark grey hoodie (XL) from the BFF tourney. Anyone want to claim it? I'll return it for my orange koozie or mallet.
I agree with you Bill. At that point I should have probably bailed out of that situation. But just to point out, I was there first, and stationary, Iain dived under my arm and into that situation. But once he had it's quite possible I was leaning on him.
And yes, the whole point I raised this is for discussion. I don't like to come out of a game and not be sure if what I did was fair.
Oh, and I'm all for banning hands on fences (with obvious exceptions like if you are in a fall/crash, but then you would be out of the game anyway)
