All that time, effort and hard work and they go and put a fuckin electric cooker in?!
Yeah, why didn't they hook into that gas main that runs right through the forest in the middle of nowhere.....
Anyway, the rings are ugle but the unit itself looks cool.
Haha, I thought the exact same thing. If it has to be electric then induction all the way.
Jaysus.... I'm surely picky with hobs and shit....
***it looks quite old though. pre-induction era. they prob want to keep the house as it is? a modern induction cooker would look out of place.
plus those rings glows beautifully***
But...^^^^^^^This^^^^^^^.

Built in 1969, so yeah that would have been a bit too early for induction cookers.
No idea why the blog is called wanken...

Them spirals are beautiful, and after being in this house for 4y, cooking on an electrical hob i couldn't care less.
it's prolly not as 'good' as gas but I'd be 'all over it' (well not literally). Love it. -

Stunning^, but a bit too much for my likes.

As in a bit too much money or as in too opulent? For me it's both but love it at the same time.
I keep getting back to those house from a few pages back, we've got an option on on small plot of land in Mallorca and I'd kill to get something along those lines built.

Opulence yes, i find it hard to be coherent when a house has more rooms than you have fingers in both hands (assuming you've got 10 ;P).
-
• #835
Something along the lines of this
They were apparently low budget builds.+1000
I'm in love with those houses.
'My wish', if you can call it that, is to build a container house, in Portugal hopefully.
Structure only, there's too many 'inspiration' to be applied, so many ideas... I'm afraid I can't do it all in one go.
If I ever get to do it. -

Woops! Didn't realise it was built in 1969. In which case, as the yoof might say, "allowed".
Still, no excuse not to use gas. I'll stop now...

Don't forget ceiling tile setting out drawings. I learnt to use microstation doing them...

The majority of that design is changed so many times, door schedules actually start to look more interesting.

Architecture can fuck right off at the moment. 3rd redundency in 3 years. You move to the other side of the world and its just the same. Two projects on hold and 30 technical staff are shipped out the door. I need a new line of work......

That blows Andy, hope you get something new sorted soon

Horrendous industry.
I have heard that Zaha has a hot desking system that works on a first come first serve basis. As in if you don't get in early you don't get a days work.*
Let me know what you go into.
*Heard.

Cheers guys.
The two biggest Architecture firms in New Zealand are both having the same problem. I am currently looking for a firm to take me on (and give me a permanent job so I can get a visa extention) before everyone else hits the market.
