I'm struggling to think of a Christmas gift for my 31 yr old architect brother.
It can't be too bulky and needs to get past Australia's super strict customs (no edibles, natural fibres etc.). Help!
Modulor by Le Corbusier?

I use this pencil daily! It is a pricey but worthy joy

Yuck. Although it couldn't be more different in purpose it still reminds me of 'Antilia', the home of India's richest man, Mukesh Ambani.

Some of these designs are cool - Architect-Designed Flatware (AKA mainly minimalist cutlery).

The rotring 2mm pencil is great, mine is primarily for workshop marking out duties but it gets used for general note taking/sketching too. I have that ball point as well, it's pretty standard but a nice weight and matches the pencil (you can also just stick Parker ball point or gel inserts in it for nicer writing.

0.5mm or 2mm?
-
• #1524
I use the 2 mm with 3h lead for drafting on rough paper.
0.5 might be more practical in that you don't have to sharpen it, but i prefer the other for some reason, I'm not aware of... -
