Oh Oliver. I posted those as examples of Pinarello typography. You can't buy those bikes in Evans Cycles.

Scott are doing their new Foil frame with Ultegra Di2 for £3.5k
Seems to be the deal of 2012 so far!
where?

For me monstercross is just a CX bike with clearance for the now widely available 29eer tyres. The Whyte bike looks well nice none the less though.

Really like this Kona Roundabout;
Look like the 11-32t MTB cassette gave it a good range.

Me too. I'm half looking for a mixie as a town bike, but I massively disagree with you on the gearing. It doesn't look like a double on the front, and I there is no point of 11-32 for the city, put a hub gear, or a compact road set with smaller rings up front.

BAMB!
Now that is sex.
Actually red and black.
Oh dear.

Oh dear.
I'm not sure why the pic is black and marmite colour. The bike is actually black and red, quite understated, if you leave out the over coordinated wheels.
-
• #68
Yes. The wheels are unbelievably grim.
I'm not a massive fan of big logo rims, but tbh don't usually get overly fussed about it, when used correctly they look good. Those however are extraordinary.
The rest of it is *ok *imo.

I had a road bike specifically build for cities with 11-28t, personally I found that to be an idea range (8 speed) with a 44t chainring, with the 9 speed set-up, it'll be cheaper, lighter and easier to look after when it does go wrong.

The new Norco Valence sound exactly my cup of teas - taller than average headtube which mean I can slam that stem without stacking it like a jenga (like my Gangsta).
-
• #71
ugh - norco moutain bikes are bad enough and weigh a tonne. Do not want
Liquigas Cannondale is sooooo super porn-y. I will own a 'dale in those colours one day

That I had notice with their MTB, especially compared to says, the full sus BMC which were featherweight in comparison.
The lapierre is the chosen bicycle of the Evans folk (the Zesty).

This thread is seriously depressing. I hope the worlds ends in 2012, shit's fucked up.

The Zesty is a nice bit of kit. The new Mojo SL-R for 2012 is serious bike lust though. A blend and improvement of the Mojo SL and the Mojo HD.
I don't like any of those Pinarellos, not even the Catena. The pink bike looks as if it might have a nice frame, but does it really have to have Pink Panther decals?
