And the Langster's been turned into a track bike: same geometry as Langster Pro - 74/74, 48x15 fixed (no freewheel according to Specialized website), pista shape bars.

I guess the single-speeds haven't been selling well, as the steel version has been dropped altogether.

This. What is going on in bike design for next year? Are we just finding the wrong ones, or is the 'spirit of innovation' producing some seriously stupid gimmicks?

The best thing about the old Langster is it wasn't a track bike. It was a ss road bike with proper hoods/levers etc.

They've gone done broke it.

Indeed, it was a great fixed wheel road bike.

I do hope they're also releasing the road Langster along the track one.

Mind you the first Langster had track geo before they went for road (the poo brown one).

anybody knows if its possible o buy the langster as frame only?
