  • The smallest Fuji Track is a junior 650C version (and has been for some time).

Ah, so that is the one?

I guess the brakes had an effect on me too. I can't remember seeing them in the previous catalogues.

  • GRThat whyte angle remind me of the salsa fargo.

The Vaya is more of a CX bike.

Now that I'm looking to put a dedicated winter bike together, I will probs upgrade the commuter frame to a Vaya.

  • fucking hell that thing is a mess

  • Its what mad trekkers have been doing to 29ers for a while. Just OTP.

Imagine Ed owned a Niner for 12 months.

  • Imagine Ed owned a Niner for 12 minutes.

    ftfy

  • Where's Rod Munch and a picture of a praying Mantis when you need them?

  • No?

  • Norco Threshold looks a bit more interesting than a White with a y bike.
Save up for the disc version in 2013.

  • I like these

  • The 2012 Ti Salsa Vaya is the one.

CX handling, with clearance for fatter tyres, discs, front and rear rack mounts, and mudguard eyelets.

  • More constant uphill.

Do they design their bikes, or let monkeys loose with the CAD tool?

    They have been scobled.

  • can everyone please stop posting ugly bikes please? It's getting quite upsetting

  • They have been scobled.

Very rich coming from a prancer whose saddle to bar drop is a lots less than mine.

  • Ed's inverse drop?

  • More constant uphill.

The geometry of that bike is great. Brilliant considering its dual purpose of CX style off-road, and on-road touring (amoungst other things).

What Salsa seem to lack is a devious photographer. Who can slam the stem, and raise the saddle to the heavens. Take away the spacers, and put a -8 deg stem on it, then raise the saddle, and 'click'.

  • Aesthetically it's not great. The fork does not appear to belong to the bike.

Thats actually a fair point. The Salsa steel forks are all like that.

  • do you think that picture is big enough? Probably not

  • i thought it will switch to a link if its too big?

  • It has.

  • Clever pixies.

  • Clever pixels.
