It also seems to have spurred on a few new beginners to come to Peckham for a first shot. Very positive.
Yep! Two new ladies for a start and lazysuperhero wants to start playing too. We'd be going to the ladies sessions ideally but I've already got committments on a thursday eve.

Amazing weekend. London yet again sets the standard. Tornados and Shotguns were better than the majority of all male teams I've played with! Impressive.
Can't wait to see an all female tourney...Massive thanks to all the organizers of this and to everyone who helped out and stayed behind to clean up etc. You're all massive assets.
Had such a blast on the court with my Penis Flytrap team mates Agata and Sabrina. Every game was a journey for us and we finished feeling we'd all equally contributed towards our podium position. Chuffed with that!
Thanks LPC x

Probably the best tourney I've attended all year, and I wasn't even playing! Congrats to all involved in organizing this. I was blown away by the standard of polo all round, but particularly from Shotgun Sisters and Tornados (that would have been a better final IMO)

Todd, you were the best ladyboy ever, and both Sabrina and I have learnt so much and got to play so much during this tourney. Awesome.
Now Cosmic better beware ! -

Did anyone use/take a ball or head from the main table without paying for it with me directly? I saw a pink ball being used in the games?
Did anyone else collect money for distro stuff?
Having counted everything I got back, and the money for it, I'm down a few on balls and heads.

I had an amazing weekend. I normally come away from tourneys feeling a bit deflated, kinda hating polo and thinking I'm never going to get better. But Hell's Bells was so inspirational, fun, exciting, energetic and such great polo. Nik and Erin, you guys pulled off the most amazing weekend and rocked it both on an off court, watching your alternate highs and lows was hilarious...you are the a total dream team and keep each other sane im sure.
Adrienne your posters and T-shirts and stickers were wicked, never seen anyone bother to make disk wheels of any other tourney poster so far - massive respect!
All other ladies, you were wicked too, thanks to the international helpers too, half of you jetlagged and carrying wood round the streets of London!
John H thanks for your Challonge skills and double screen - such a great idea. Eggpie, nice trailer skills, Jono, incredible breakfast baps and support throughout, and lori and ben for excellent food all weekend.
Max and Helen, the Dyemonds rocked, and Ads for stepping up as a super sub! Had such a good time playing with you guys.
So much fun. WOOOOP, cant wait to see all the photos!

I was completely overwhelmed by the response for Hell's Belles this weekend.
Massive thanks go to all of our sponsors, Brooks, Rollapaluza, Oak Cycles, Chunk, Rapha, 2pure and Pedros, Waiting for the Sun, The Black Rainbow Project, Schwalbe and Push.
It was a pleasure to be involved in organising a tournament with such amazing, talented and creative people. I am gay for Erin. Adrienne, your design was bomber. Helen, Zoe, Julia, Joni, Margs, V and all the rest of the llhbpa, I am really proud to call you my friends and have a never ending amount of respect for you all for how you approached this so positively and productively.
The support of the London guys for womens polo is partly the reason we have such tight ladies scene and before, after and on the day you were all amazing. Thanks John for all your hard work, Jono for the invalueable advice, to everyone who reffed, Alexis for the bikes and van action, Eggpie for the music and trailer action and making us laugh when we were going slightly nuts... There is a big list and you all know who you are so thanks so much for everything.
To Elaine and Claire I wanted to give massive props for giving up you weekend to whip us all into shape and I can't wait to get you guys on the court soon (I heard you have a dance...?). And Chris you were so great this weekend...if you don't start playing I will hunt you down.
As for all the players who travelled from as far as LA and Canada, Switzerland and Spain, it was a massive honour to have you all here and see just how bad ass Ladies polo is world wide. I know that a lot of the guys were instrumental in convincing some of those girls to come and so great on the court. Thanks to all of you for putting up with the heckling with such good humour!
I can't wait till next year.
Fuck Yeah Bike Polo!

It was my very pleasure...had an awesome time! Great way to get totally immersed into the game too!
and I can't wait to get you guys on the court soon (I heard you have a dance...?).
Look out for Bike-owl Boob-lay coming to a court near you soon...it's me and Ella, who was a friend of the Polo Bears, and yeah, we've got a dance baby! We really should crack on with the actual learning how to play soon, eh! : D
Polo does indeed rock. As do ladies!

Everything is now back at the Orwell, except the polo boombox which we couldn't get in the van - could someone pick it up and find it a suitable home? Orwell, wherever, etc. Thanks Alexis for the van, Mrak, Matt Butt and Mikey for hanging out until the pub opened, and tucking it all away in the polo hulks.
Proper write up from me coming soon, completely exhausted..

The finals ball was just one of my own. Speaking of which, anyone pick it up?
John, will email you about monies - was it in the tin? (I have the tin)

Such a great week-end! Thanks girls (and boys)! -

Missed another tournament, this one sounded pretty sick :( . Next year...
For anyone who was watching this weekend and wants to play polo, come down to peckham multi storey tomorrow evening, should be quite a few new people this week. I'll be bringing a few spare mallets, and there will be bikes to be borrowed if you don't fancy getting yours t-boned. Don't forget to bring beer. I need some way to misspend my youth...
