With riders off every 30 seconds there will be a lot more catches in the unseeded seniors and old men categories. Could be fun. We had enough trouble counting people away every minute, what with chatting to spectators and Andy working out his backwards counting.

Or were you thinking of sending everyone up in pairs, red bull style?

Backwards counting whilst watching a digital stopwatch is harder than you'd think.

I only messed up one, and that 'hoops so no-one gave a toss as we all knew he wouldn't be troubling the timekeepers much.
