Sounds very pro. Not quite my kind of tuneage (I preferred your previous one) very slick nonetheless.
I'm trying to come to terms with Reaper as it's meant to be like more of the DAWs and it's very cheap. I keep hearing how easy Ableton is though and wonder if I'm wasting my time. Then I realise that making noise IS wasting my time but in a good way. Years ago I could kill days sampling stuff and editing the samples and then making tracker tunes from whatever I'd come up with. How long did it take you to get this tune to the stage it's at now?

I made a whole album or more of electro-lounge back in 2005.
I have just got round to putting the site back on line after my last hosting provider bit the dust
http://www.concordelounge.com/One of these days I shall put the whole lot there for download in high quality. you get short, poor quality snippets at the top, and full-length decent quality on the "listen" page.
(I'd hate to think what the copyright costs of licencing all those samples would be though.)

BQ: This is space command to zoom... What did you use to make these?

The sequencer was Sonar, then a variety of VSTs, soundfonts, samples from various charity shop records and cool&strange downloads. Most of the spoken word stuff on there is from 1950s and early 60s space MP3s, and there are bits of a christian educational record for teaching your kids about puberty without actually teaching them about sex, and there is a snippet from How To Speak Hip. The drums are probably Stylus and the Hammond organ is B4. The Sabadaba vocals are from a cover of Say a Little Prayer by The Brasilia Modern Six. I may have used Acid to get or change the BPM on those loops. These days I think you can do it in sonar, but back then Acid did a much better job. The scratching is all samples. It may be a soundfont, and I either played it live on a keyboard or carefully pieced it together over many hours. Probably the latter as it all seems to fit so well.

had a crack at those Deepchord style....er....chords today. Done in a couple of hours so bit rough really (drums could have been less compressed, it's put them too low in the mix). See what you think

How do you use the machinedrum to sequence the modular? I've got a little euro modular and always looking for tips incorporating it with midi and sequencers.
Well the analogue synths use patch cord cables so once you've created something interesting there via midi signals from the MD. One of the racks isn't a true modular it's an analogue systems SPAWN so an enclosed synth:
If I don't get off my arse soon I'm selling the lot :(

OK got this track work in progress just now - needs effects tweaking and proper mastering/compression (just did this quickly to see what the levels were like) - coming along though - see what you think
Good work. The kind of inspiration I need.

^ Good work.;o)
My cross post...
nice track, really like the build up and the bass when it comes in
the arpeggiated intro bit with the hi pass filter (perhaps?) on it, reminds me of Yazoo - in a good way!
and nice synths!
