so the only options left are tunneling or water born transport
If you're planning on getting anywhere by canal it is a bit hopeless as well. There are major barriers near the olympic site, but even over in Little Venice they've put up barriers.
(These swans are not letting british waterways or LOCOG tell them where they can and cannot go!)

Definite aversion therapy being applied to drivers with OKR/New X light phasing back to normal tonight too.

heat + Olympics is going to be ugly for the next couple of weeks.
31 degrees in London tomorrow, when the ORN kicks in:
There was a desert wind blowing that night.
It was one of those hot dry Santa Anas that come down through the mountain passes and curl your hair and make your nerves jump and your skin itch.
On nights like that every booze party ends in a fight.
Meek little wives feel the edge of the carving knife and study their husbands' necks.
Anything can happen. You can even get a full glass of beer at a cocktail lounge.

The first day of it is open ticketed I believe...

The traffic from Bromley to Highgate this afternoon was insane. Way more cars, cyclists and pedestrians, and some shocking driving from the former. When the Zil Lanes go into effect in 6 hours, I anticipate gridlock. It just can't work, the streets are totally rammed as it is, far worse than I've ever seen them, and I've ridden that route for years.

It was a ring wot did it.

Not in Stratford thats for sure
YAY
