I think I'm going to try and ride with everything in my jersey and small saddle bag. Chances are I'll over pack though and take a small rack bag.

Cool. Yeah will definately have a look. If it looks too big i will just stick with my messenger bag. I was just suffering a bit after the 100 with my right shoulder.

I know for a fact It's bigger than your messenger bag, it would probably swallow that up!

Have you got a bottle cage Mark? Last year me and Sparky ran out of water at 2.30am in the wilds so I'm thinking of packing an extra bottle in my bag.

I'll have a rack top bag which holds around 13L this should be enough room for a few bits and pieces.

Also I was hoping to just use my two bottles on my cages, that should be enough shouldn't it till the rest stops?

Yeah should be cool. Well if its ok to get ya to carry a few bits for me, that would be awesome. Save me from taking much more than a hip pouch!!

Ah I don't know yet mate. I'm torn between packing really light and packing in comfort. My knees are still in the rehab stages so will play up. I'll be dosing up on ibuprofen and voltarol and spinning like a mad man -- I love my new cadence monitor!

I've been a bit absent, sorry. Here's the deal...

I haven't seen Kirsty in two weeks, and if I do the DD it will be three. So, she's coming up on Saturday morning. I can meet you all at the station and bring you back to mine for some grub, or take you wherever, no worries. I'll wave you off at London Fields. But it's not looking likely that I'll do it, unfortunately. But after the new job, new city, new flat etc it will be nice for me to chill out with Kirsty.

I still haven't decided whether I'm doing it. I have things to do and don't really want to spend £45 getting to London.
I'll probably ride down from Norwich and join the ride at Needham Market, Framlingham or Peasenhall.

Probably not very busy. I am intending on riding back from Dunwich so won't be hanging around on the beach for long this year.

I am gonna kip on the beach then ride back, stop for a carvery on route etc. Alls good. See ya at the train station at 2:30ish!

Also I'm going to try and kip on the train down there.

Cheers col. Shame ya cant be with us. My bike is still crunching. Replaced the bb, had the threads chased all sorts but still crunch. Must be the hub. Oh well Dunwich here we go!

Next year, I'll feel no guilt in skipping a 31st birthday party. I've a new noise on my fixed too, ignoring it and hoping it goes away.
