Pretty sure that there is a lot of cheating occurring here. Barclays and UBS seem to be in a competition to out bullshit each other
I can't help but think this as well. but i'm sure some of the teams below us are thinking we're cheating! Best to give the benefit of the doubt, it's only for fun anyway.

I am really confused about the points.
For my regular commute the miles are doubled to make the points so 20 miles = 40 points.
But on the L2B it goes mental and my 63 miles (9 mile warm up - not cheating) = 393 points. But somebody said the early miles count for more???
Hmmm hang on - it appears to be early miles from ZERO not early miles each day. So perhaps once beyond a certain threshold ALL your miles only count for 2x points...
Weird.

Just logged my ride in so I could get my elite badge only to find 6pt has, typically, beaten me to it.

And for what it's worth, while I don't really give a toss what those bankers do, I doubt they are cheating. It's so easy to cheat it's actually not worth doing.
Last year UBS's strategy was to get as many team members as possible then cull the less productive until they just fitted into the 11-50 catogory. Again, not cheating just taking it way too seriously. Which they are again this year according to their team name. Isn't there a term for a declaration that says one thing but clearly means the opposite.

^^ I thought I wasn't getting many miles in atm, it's amazing how they all add up once you start counting. Getting a few in this evening too...

^It's easier when you cheat, right? Who's counting...
It looks like we have 49 members, but only 39 have logged any miles at all :/
Kick them out, I say.
dimi3, kirth, sumo; I'm lookin' at you.

Thanks Mr Drem.
Spybot - don't kick them out, just make sure they clock AT LEAST 49 miles by the end!

Been in Boston without a bike (last minute trip), will start doing miles :)

We appear to be 14 miles off the leaders but 444 points away from them!
How is this possible?

we have more miles, but people get more points for their first miles. we have many people yet to start counting their miles
-
• #146
I'm injured, hardly cycling, if you need space on the team throw me out.
-
• #147
TOP again! Just keep getting those miles in lads and we're bound for glory!

• #148
Did some arbitrary Regents Park miles to bump up the total. Dishonest, unpleasant but worthwhile. So hot out there today.

Damn tom! still beating me, gonna need to cane the miles while you're at work.

It has been a poor weekend for cycling for me - I managed a trip to parents place and to shops etc on saturday, and today my son did his triathlon - I managed to cycle to swimming pool (for me to pracrice) and back this morning, and then to pub in Chertsey and back this evening, so got 22 miles in.
this coming week will not be very good for mileage either - I am doing a triathlon on Sunday, so will be resting from thurs to sat. Still, if weather is good tommorow I may extend my regular commute in the evening, which is already 18 miles !!!
Anyway, who did big miles this weekend? some of the team must have done a few as we are now first !!!
