This is a good idea actually. The Surrey Rumble Route was ace. Not sure if it would actually class as good prep for the DR as it is as pretty flat.

Jenny asked what's going on with SSTC (which I started in response to wanting to do more rides at the weekend, but which Marco did ALL the work in routes and everything).

If I've caused some ill feeling here I'm sorry. Really. Because, without Marco, SSTC would have folded badly and been something that people would have laughed at.

This summer, I can't devote any time to organising (luckily, AS I'm useless at that).

It would be good if new routes were made and added to the database of knowledge.

This might be too long for a Sunday morning pootle. It is pretty flat, and the roads are generally quite good. A social time would be more like five and a half hours.

^that's not my route. It's some kind of jaybastardized version. What's all this about "Bring On The Hills" anyway? I don't like people talking about me behind my back.
