Loaner Bikes

As you can gather, I'm a bit annoyed / disappointed about the potential loss of this bike.

No. I am fearing the worst for it. Fiona called Mira, she has no leads on Angus or who he lives with. Angus' number (just called it again) when called is now a 'giff gaff' network message, and the ring sounds normal, so I am guessing he is back in the UK, but he never picks up or returns calls. The last lead is Kit, who is a friend of his, and who gave the loaner to Angus in the first place. I dont know if Kit is back from Spain or not yet - but he hasnt answered my last two texts asking about the bike.

Shit scene.

My old firetruck is now with Jordan from Portland... it's not actually a loaner but nice people keep asking to use it and I haven't said no. He may turn up at the tournament tomorrow, but I'm not sure, if he does then he's free to let other people use the bike, etc.

Shit, I just saw now that people could have used the bike yesterday. Is it needed today or is too late now?

OK at this stage it looks like this bike, which was lovingly put together with parts from LPC, has been stolen.

All avenues I've tried have lead to zero. The guy Angus does not answer the phone to me, me calling from a private or work number, or Kit, who gave the bike to him. Mira doesnt know his housemates or where he lives.

Nobody knows Angus really, he is not on the forum, and not connected to polo scene.
Kit if you are reading this please try any avenues you can think of and get it back.

If anyone knows where a squat is on Kennington Lane, let me know.

There is a loaner bike at LMNH which we left there after saturday bike polo with Naomi and Io, I work there, so If anyone wants it or wants to use it for the league on saturday just come by and pick it up.

polo bike as far as i know was at LMNH. Jess is on the LFGSS as "JessHoldy" and had messaged on the forum saying it was there.
However, Naomi texted me today for directions on how to find LMNH to "check on the loaner bike" as she doesn't have a bike and wanted to borrow one for the Leauge. i gave her directions to LMNH and also suggested to let Ben/Paul/LFGSS know.... So i assume Naomi has it from today...

spoke to Naomi.. she doesn't have the bike so it is still there. Also spoke to Jess. She is at work tomorrow from 3pm so you can ask her for it then. if she is not there check with the mechanics

Hello, just to reassure everyone, :) bike is at LMNH - I was there last night with Jess, who said noone came to pick it up (as i told her that Naomi and Fran were considering picking it up..so i guess it's still there x

Can one of the new players who needs a bike and is playing in the league take that bike and keep it in their house? IIRC beagle was good enough to donate it, so it should be looked after, is leaving it in the cafe all the time a good idea?

+1 that Kit should be making a major effort to get this back. Im also up for helping to reclaim the loaner for general LPC use. Loaner polo bikes shouldent be lent to non polo players
