Courier offered out a massive builder type this morning at junction of Farringdon and Clerkenwell Roads.
Courier seemingly aggrieved that builder (pedestrian) had told him to "Fuck Off". At first Courier rode off shouting, then returned to face-off the builder who looked like he could rip the arms off a gorilla.
Thought it was going to kick off but the builder kept his cool and said he didn't say anything to him.
Best bit was the courier saying "I ain't like them other fucking cyclists. Don't tell me to fuck off."
TBH that left me a bit confused.

Ha, less so in Leeds. Though there is a lime green Lamborghini I can see from my office window which is in a different parking spot every day - someone's daily driver.

As a kid, I was perpetually rescuing small birds, putting them in shoe boxes, and nursing them back to health.

I’ve got to say, that bottom of the range Shimano Alvio has performed really well. I’ve given it some proper punishment today.

Heard a loud pang, thought the chain had snapped. Turned out 4/5 chainring bolts were hanging on by the last thread...

Hot, lovely; headwind, not so much; insets, fucking swarms of eye / mouth annoyance; 25mm tyres and not 28's, nervous but quicker; melt-y tarmac, nice popping noise.
