I don't get it that bad. But it was annoying enough this year that I tried some antihistamines for the first time. I think they helped a bit. Didn't feel the need to rub my eyeballs out of their sockets.

Yeah, I like to feel better about myself by only reading messages from that loser.

I also flatted today and even had tools but somehow the nut on my inner tube valve was fucking welded on so I couldn't get the fucking inner tube out to replace it.
spent 40 minutes trying to cut it/twist it/bend it/shout at it without damaging the rim and eventually using a tiny blade on my mini-tool i scraped a ton of grime and tube sealant and god knows what else out of the thread and tried to unscrew it until my hand cramped and my thumb was throbbing (broke it playing basketball and not been right since) it finally came loose.
was meant to be in work by 7.40 for an 8am software release, arrived at 8.30 and missed the release window entirely.
think some cunt had thrown something sharp in the cycle lane outside oval as had 2cm gash in tyre and tube and it went flat immediately.

I take it you're not a fan of expensive stainless 7 inchers then?

I mean I'd happily pay for something more exotic but I'm a sucker for a bargain.

Had the same issue, mentioned it to them while I was there, they said it was fine. Showed them there display bikes and how easily they turned. Borrow tool and loosen it. Also tried telling me that I needed new brake pads and a chain, even though when booking it I said that we about a month old and didn't need replacing.

Put the new to me hed pro am on, all excited to disc wheel to work, flexed so much i had to turn back at the end of the road and swap back to the old wheel. Minutes of delay on top of an already late departure. Nice and windy tho.

Back on le pedal machine this morning after a week off due to 'fixie knee' flaring up; left early, rode slowish, stopped for a filter at Workshop Coffee, got some brekky from Waitrose, sauntered the rest of the way in, missed the rain.

Pissing with rain, anticipating thorough soaking, came downstairs to find my brother come back from work after two many staff turned up so he gave himself a day off. Blagged for a lift to the station, which he did. Thought I'd only postponed the inevitable at the other but the rain in Bristol had already passed. Dodged the rain bullet/10

All the rain that was supposed to happen midday seems to have gone from the radar. Guess it's waiting for me to ride home.

I just got this "Citizen" app that lets me know about police incidents around me. I got this one on the bike/electric scooter/uber driver corridor to the train station.

I really wish there were more details than "Man punched off bike". Or maybe that is just enough details so I can build my own narrative.
EDIT: Man when it goes to the next page it is a real shock to the system.

At least my battery is charged.
Ha! Wish I worked out what it was earlier. Been riding my bike loads more than normal this year. Feeling proper shithouse since the emergence of spring/corresponded with the AWE and thought I was dying.
