  • Also strongly believe dark sky weather app just flat out makes shit up now. every morning it gets it horribly wrong.

  • sitting here shitting myself

Maybe that will help you drop some weight for the ride home.

  • Quite a nice ride in the swirling snow - ski jacket, scarf, gloves and big fluffy hat with ear flaps did the trick quite nicely.

Drivers seem marginally more likely to do silly things in these conditions, but hey, what's a little careless driving between friends?

Saw a bloke in bib shorts. Bare legs in these conditions... must be a geordie.

  • Commuted in shorts and t-shirt the 5 meters from the bedroom to the office. #toughlife

  • I see you've been reading @hippy 's posts in the weight loss thread.

  • That's way too overdressed for working from home.

  • Heating hasn't kicked in yet

  • Fun in the sun err snow!

And yes noticed a few drivers taking some stupid risks maybe they were to warm in their cars and needed and excuse to get out and get amongst it or just cunts.

  • just cunts

    .

  • 2 degrees in Belfast, the snow is due to hit us Wednesday. Nice chilly wind.

Impatient GolfWanker got stuck while I could filter through the queue of cars that blocked the junction. Always a good feeling ;)

But the heating at work is broken and it's 12 degrees. Brr.....!

  • Below 16 and you can go home yo. It’s the law

  • No it’s not, 16 degrees is a suggestion.

  • We can all work from home if needed if they don't hurry up with fixing it, that's exactly what's going to happen :)

  • Never worn a snood before until this morning, glad I did, no cold ears on this mfer.

  • Same difference

  • I think it's 13 degrees if your job is sedentary.

  • Kind of hilarious at points when the snow started proper. Didn't make up for the seriously cold toes though.

  • Christ that was a cold cycle in. Full on blizzard in my face at one point in North London.

  • on the brompton toady and tomorrow, but hoping to get the winter kit out for a proper outing on wednesday, to see how it does in proper freezing conditions..

  • I wore a near full face (only eyes showing) balaclava to ride to town and back last night. I refuse to be cold.

    Itchy sweaty lips /10

  • I had sleeves on my t-shirt and wore my thick footie shorts.

  • Thursday is looking like a complete git. 20mph bitter headwind and I'm planning on a ~36h fast from Tuesday 11pm until Thursday lunchtime. Oof.

  • Does it count if you leave your mouth open and accidentally eat some snow?

  • It's... chilly.

Encountered a driver who, having stuck his nose out of a side road, realised his mistake and reversed back in (rather than just sitting there blocking the cycle lane, like 99% of drivers do). He got a nice thank you wave.

  • Bit of a face stinger this morning especially in the shade. Still, I think this is the first year I've really nailed my winter kit. Was toasty warm apart from the bits of the face that you cant cover up.
