What 'cycle lanes' in the forest are people walking on?
It's a shared space dude.

Rode in on the fixed gear for the first time in a couple of months. I'd forgotten how much fun it is and how much faster up hills, but realised my position is very short and upright. Gonna stick a longer stem on tonight and maybe move the saddle back a little.

Bus v Cement Mixer in Parson's Green. Firemen in attendance due to fuel spillage and New King's Road shut Westbound between Bagleys Lane and Wandsworth Bridge Road.
Traffic was clogged up all the way back to Millbank.
Made my commute take a whole 2 minutes longer. Poor fuckers in cars.

My 30 minute each way is more stressful than my 9hr a day job

you know those narrow lanes along the curb separated by white lane with a bicycle painted on them, i mean those. i know it's shared space and don't mind anyone using them but it's dangerous to overtake peds with fast traffic behind you cause lanes so narrow.

I wondered what the embankment clusterfuck was all about - I turned off at Lots Road to take Wandsworth Bridge though.
Is Putney Bridge still borked, or can cyclists ride over it yet?

Thought I was really out of condition, but as someone had brought in a track pump to work I'd Chechnya the tyres. Checked my rear tyre as thought it was a bit low so it was . 35 psi. Pumped it back to 105 and rolled home easy.

Who do I speak to about my plan to use nuclear weapons to turn the Old Street / Great Eastern Street junction in to glass at around 0830 on a week day? Is that a Sustrans thing?
Standing perfectly stationary at the traffic lights, waiting for a green man, some fucking jimmy rode directly in to the back of my legs. Upon confrontation, he said 'I thought you were going to cross the road'. After categorically and aggressively pointing out his unbelievable lack of common sense and suggesting he might be better off writhing in a cave with his other eyeless invertebrate cousins, I cross the road only to have some utter, utter cunt wobble directly in to me, head on. The only thing that stopped me clapping the twat right in the mouth was that beating someone to death in the middle of a road, surrounded by pedestrians, tends to have negative consequences on my liberty.
I have run out of my medication and this may be having an adverse affect on my commute, but seriously. That triple road / cycle lane / pavement overlap is one of the worst bits of cycle-planning I have the misfortune to use regularly.

Always forget how much difference a new chain and cassette make. Felt like turbo legs today.

A new chain and cassette makes no difference. You have got turbo legs today.

Car on its side at the top of Finsbury Park/Manor House. Traffic being diverted every which way but bikes allowed over. Nice clear stretch was fun.

I'm stopped at lights, lights go green and as I'm kicking off fauxdie douchebag coming from down the hill shoots through my left elbow next to the curb.
Cue fucked gear change or something, unclip and with fail with chainsuck. Basically a clusterfuck. As I rolling calming on delivering a 'karma' to the stricken nodder. This was after a barny with white van cunt so actually quite calm for me.

rode epping forest today, nearly fell asleep whilst riding, the only excitement was cars passing by very quickly very close to me. a hatchback going at 50m/h almost touched my right arm.
people still use the narrow cycle lanes to walk up and down the forest creating danger for themselves and cyclists.
that epping forest is a beautiful piece of nature. i go into woods and breathe in the air for 5 minutes before i have to come back to the polluted air of city centre.
