Well that's a new one - turning right from St Johns St onto Owen Street completely legally and with priority and a Nordic walker type walks into the road without looking. Don't hit her, but then I get an earful and clobbered with a walking pole.

No pavement tax paid, obvs...

Nope - but it was my last day commuting on that bike and it's spoiled it. Mostly pissed off that she thought I was RLJ'ing when I wasn't.
Imagine she's going to have a terrible day ahead of her.

That is all.

Saw a fella hit by a van as i was going over blackfriars this morning, he ended up on the floor with the van parked on his foot/ankle. Looked nasty. Apart from that nice temperate for caining it in, 8/10

I drove to work and it's not even December or nuffin.
I say work, parked at Stratford and got tube in.
She wants me to go shopping after work and I'm off the bike right now so it makes sense to stick the car in Westfield for the day.
Bit of radio 2 on the way in, heated seat for my piles, lovely.

great ride in today, despite tired legs - ultra clear sky, watched the moon set and the sun rise, frosty sparkles everywhere, and best of all , all lights were green for me in the city !

I caught that as well. He was just pulling himself up when I passed. Not sure of extent of injuries to foot.
What bike were you on? I was blue/green Bob Jackson fixed gear. Mostly black clothing and mission workshop backpack.

do you have dura ace hubs?
I love this forum. No identifiable traits of the person but noticed which brand of hub.
Good work :)

Are you sure it's piles you have?
-
• #16515
I don't really have piles, it was nice having a warm bum though.

• #16516
Yup. Ohai!

I notice the bike before the person usually.

Fleshy things, usually mounted somewhere above the top tube. (I'm told)

First commute in after being off the big bike for a couple of months, nice and cosy in the winter garms. But currently feel shattered and on the verge of sleep, not sure how I'm going to summon up the energy to head home..

After a week off the bike for nonsensical reasons managed a green wave from holborn to manor house and made it to enfield in 40mins. That's my ride100 and t/w/thnrc training done.

I definitely experience this when I push myself on a ride. If your heart rate stays elevated long after you've stopped, you might want to back off a bit, as it means you're overworking your heart (which can lead to nasty things like atrial fibrillation later in life).
