  • Oh shit, I had just figured out the logistics of getting there tonight.

    Poo.

  • No chance? I'll be wearing black tie in your honour...

  • I think that's it now for the bottles once the last few have been posted and collected as arranged, so anyone on the list who didn't get one, I'm afraid you only have yourselves to blame. ;]

  • Oh shit, just looked at this thread...I have myself to blame.

  • Man im slack. Fuck xmas.

  • Glad you shifted them all Scott, mine's ace so thanks again.

  • Glad you shifted them all Scott, mine's ace so thanks again.

  • Cheers Scott - got mine!

  • picked my bottle up today, it's a lovely thing, cheers Scott

  • Got mine last week. Beautiful thing

  • Just clocked this thread can you pm me you BT details and i'll pay. Also want it posted to snowy scotland!

    Thanks

  • Huh? Check post seven six nine...

  • I've been without Internet since my move on Monday, just sorted a connection tonight, so to he few people who have paid for bottles and are waiting for me to post them, I can now sort it for you.

  • i gave missmouse her xmas present early, she is really happy with the BRP bottle

  • Yeah, she sent me a PM saying it was nice, but that she was hoping for an X-Box.

  • Or a new man...

  • There is a good write up on the bottles by ITS tactical here.

That website is ridiculous. I think that guy had one too many Action Man dolls as a kid.

    Nice bottle though.

  • Ok...this might not seem so exciting to some people, but I'm proud to be working with the company that made this product...Liberty Bottleworks!

The 'mystery' item is indeed a bottle...but not just your run of the mill, stinky, throwaway plastic, screen printed bottle.
Liberty Bottleworks make the best aluminium drinks bottles in the world.
These are the ONLY American made metal bottle on the market.
They are the only bottle to be made from recycled materials, and are fully recyclable themselves.
Both the bottles themselves and every process involved in their manufacture is completely BPA free.
They are the only bottle to be approved by the FDA...surpassing even stainless steel bottles in that respect.
Their flexible food grade coating isn't porous unlike bare metal bottles, so won't stain, or pick up flavours or bacteria.
Their shape is designed to mimic the perfect pouring action of a wine bottle.
Unlike almost every other bottle which require the caps to be screwed, and screwed, and screwed each time you need a drink they use a Pat pending cap which uses no threads, and locks into place with only a quarter turn...the neck is also ice cube friendly.
The company itself is committed to keeping their products as 'green' as they can, even going so far as to source custom artwork from local artists to decorate their bottles, with profits then being shared with the artists.
They have developed in conjunction with a printing company in the states a process of printing which allows an almost infinite number of colours, and tiny details to be reproduced perfectly on the bottles using some pretty amazing cyclindrical printers. They even had special inks developed for them which would be BPA free but unlike regular screen printing won't chip or flake.

The company rightly takes huge pride in both their products and their working methods, and I for one can truly appreciate that.

Obviously I took full advantage of the limitless colour options by having black on black. :]
I went with a matte black bottle and a gloss black print, which looks as stealthy as my bags!
I didn't intend these to be used on the bike, more as just a really nice quality bottle to keep in your bag, or on your desk etc.
    They are a 24oz size.
I'm really happy to have these bottles available...I hope at least some of you like them! :]
I tried my best to take a pic with my phone, but as expected, it came out a bit shit...but at least you get the idea. :]

There is a good write up on the bottles by ITS tactical here.

And a nice piece here on the custom printing techniques Liberty use.

Anyone on the original list gets first refusal on the bottles for £16 as mentioned before...if you were on the list and have now changed your mind, please edit it for me.
    Thanks!
^ This is my Christmas present from DJ. Bit early but hey. It is a thing of beauty. I love it! Well done Scott and thanks to DJ for securing one for me. x

  • Yeah, she sent me a PM saying it was nice, but that she was hoping for an X-Box.
You told me you'd keep quiet about that!

  • Um. I've just seen this thread and now I covet a bottle of my very own. Will you be making good on your threat to order more, BRP?

  • Saddlebags: I need one. Are the BRP ones any good?

  • Paul,

I've got a sadly underused one from BRP - they're awesome. if you're interested chuck me a pm

  • PM coming...

  • If you don't take it, I know someone who wants one if it's up for grabs. Ace bag!

  • Surely you mean Archies saddle bag? The BRP ones aren't done yet.
    New and improved apparently.
