Just the one please :-) Are these posted out - not just collection?
-
• #1579
If you don't put the space in, it will list as normal. Once you put a space in between it automatically formats it that way so just need to edit it to 23.gt
-
• #1580
Yeah I can post or you're welcome to collect.... BOTH of them. :)
-
• #1581
When are you expecting them to arrive @Black_Rainbow_Project
-
• #1582
It's been 9 days since they sent me the email to say the samples are on the way and according to the tracking they've only made it from Washington to San francisco. :(
I'm hoping they'll arrive next week but going by that kind of shipping speed it's hard to tell. -

Would the tea strainer work as cold brew coffee filter device? Or as a drip brew?
-
• #1585
All I know about Coffee Henry is that I pay Abokado for it and then drink it. :)
I'll show proper pictures though once I have one here and hopefully that'll help. -
• #1586
Perfect! It could be a very convenient solution.
-
• #1587
Sample bottles have arrived... Looking good, except no bloody tea infuser in the one that's supposed to have it! :(
I've emailed them already on that issue.
There appears to be two different cap versions, one with a flip up spout and internal straw, so I'm just checking whether that version is compatible with hot liquids.
I'll take a couple of pictures tonight after I've had a chance to try them out properly, and hopefully by then I'll know the score on the infuser and spout situation.
I'm also going to increase the size of my logo slightly on the finished version. :) -

Ok, regarding the vacuum flasks...
I'll post some pictures tonight...
BUT... I'm a little disappointed to find that the reason they 'fit in cycling bottle cages' is because they're slightly smaller than a cycling bottle... So yes, they go in the cage, but they then rattle around in it. :(
This isn't what I was led to believe.
The flasks themselves are really nice. They've got a kind of matt black 'stone' finish, with the gloss black caps and logo.
I tested one out, and after 8 hours the water inside was still plenty hot, and I reckon it could go a bit longer and still be hot enough to qualify as a 'hot drink'.I'm still waiting for a reply to my email regarding the tea infuser and whether the flip spout sports cap version is fine with hot liquids.
The only thing I'm disappointed with as I said is that they don't fit tightly in a bottle cage.So I guess the question will be how many of you will still want one in light of this.
Obviously if you're carrying it in a bag or pouch etc, it's not an issue.Let me know what you think.

• #1592
Still on for it. I have to bend my cage already so that my bottles don't bounce out, so a bit more won't hurt. Or, as you say, carry it elsewhere. I normally have a bag of some kind on me.
-
• #1593
What's the capacity?
-
• #1594
They actually appear to be the same size as the original aluminium BRP bottles I had made a few years ago, as they sent a free sample of one of those again too and it also rattles.
I guess it must have been that I also had 'squeezed' metal cages back then, so didn't notice the size... But now I'm a big boy with fancy Tune carbon cages that are a set size, I've noticed the smaller size of the flask/bottle. It's a shame they didn't use a standard cycling bidon diameter, but I guess cyclists weren't their main target market? -

500ml
-
• #1596
Actually that's a lie... They're 16oz which is actually about 454ml
Basically two mugs worth of beverage. -
• #1597
I haven't graduated to the crabon cages yet, so it won't be an issue for me, and I'm guessing for those lucky enough to have made the transition, I'm sure a few defly placed pieces of electrical tape might take up the slack, though the Velominati might not approve.

27.NahguavkireI'll have in if it's not too late! Also not overly upset about bottle cage fitment as it'll likely see most use in the motor vehicle for work!
Glad to see the return of BRP and do ally get my mitts on some Scott kit 😊

That's a shame - I don't want one now. Sorry.

BRP bidons also perhaps?
