  • Cheers all for a great first ride + Skive for the route!

Ditchling is indeed a bitchling - but a lot of fun - didn't see that roadie on the way back down so he probably thought better of his 7th/8th/9th(?) lap...

    Good to meet you all!

  • What an awesome day out yesterday!

Thank you Skive for organising and being a fantastic leader. Also thank you to everyone on the ride for being such an excellent bunch of people to spend the day with. Was great to meet you all!

  • Dan, you're the new chainbreaker. fact!
    HAHAHAHAHAHAaaaa!!!

I hand my crown to the new King of Fall!

  • On the subject of crashing. Who wants to own up for mounting the pavement, hopping off it and then crashing into the back of me at lights?

oh they weren't with us. just some local that looked a lot like me!

  • Hah I hate my roadie friends. I posted our route on FB, and my mate comments going not bad, but you need to hurry up. His best time Lon->Brighton ? 2 hours 35minutes... if it was downhill I might make that :)

  • ^ You would have done it faster if you were wearing bib shorts. FACT

Is this when you hand over the ceremonial body armour?

  • I swear to God that if one person shouts "Do a crash!" at me out and about town I will go ape.

  • I swear to God that if one person shouts "Do a crash!" at me out and about town I will fall off.

    fair enough.

  • ^^

give me a shout if you want a crib sheet.

  • Yes please sir, that would be awesome. Only reason i have never done it on my own or lead is that i know id get horribly lost and end up in Cornwall around 2013

  • what? you are a roadie! (that was you with the gears no?)

I'm a crippled old man, who refuses to wear Lycra ;) When you drop 5k on a bike, race in a team and bits and bobs like that, then I classify you as a roadie.

BMX kid is talking about going next weekend. there's a thread already.

ok you had the right attitude for our ride anyway. i loved the unconvincing "no there's still a couple more to come" when we were ready to get moving again!

  • i'd do that. one way that is..

  • time to move over to the other thread then :-)
