  • We can find an unlocked door under the pier late at night and unwittingly sleep in the company of 10 to 20 Rockers and not realise until the morning!!

  • Well, I'm still in for 11am with a view that we can have a bag of chips and ride to HH for train back. Discuss.

  • I'm not out just yet but am waiting to see what the overall consensus is.

  • Agreed. Didn't get much sleep last night so off to bed now. Will wake up at 8 and get a feel for whether anybody else is up for it. I gave the poloengers a heads up on their thread too just in case they didn't notice either.

  • just ride to hayward heath or whatever it's called. No problem.

  • aw wish I could come to this! Money's stopping me again as usual. Have fun!!!!

  • I'm out, nothing to do with rail works but not going to manage the ride, feeling trashed from climbing... and if it's as humid as today then even worse...

  • what time and where are we starting? Its not in the OP (again)...

  • 11am, trafalgar square.

  • departure will be 1100 from trafalgar square, meeting by one of the lions. grrr.

    read the OP again.

  • you should be out living it up like last night buddy

  • no thanks

  • Quadrophenia references aside, I'm not bovvered about the engineering works. If I feel up to it I'll ride back to HH, or if my poor body is on the verge of extinction I have a good friend who lives in Brighton so I can crash at his house, although he will probably try and make me go gay clubbing.

  • i'm out. will come next time though when i'm less busy with work for uni.. i always realize last minute how much stuff i still have to do... anyway, have fun!

  • and so the flouncing begins. Just come on the ride, it's a sunday.

  • Thinking about this, either fixed or on the newer, prettier (but geared) bike.

  • deffo out, not that I was on the list anyway. have a nice ride skive. hope transort works out and the rain is gentle if it comes.

  • Having promised myself I wouldnt do this ride I am having a change of heart...if I cant be bothered to get up early and do a solo ride I may join you from brixton. If people are planning to ride back to haywards heath may I suggest bringing LIGHTS as it will be getting dusky, depending on what time you get in.

    /dadmode

  • spybot, old before your time mate. you're so damn right to mention it though, why on earth anyonewould ever go anywhere, except maybe the track, without lights is beyond me. In heavy rain I'd always switch mine on, whatever time of day. And it is gonna rain.

  • Yeah go on spybot, come! You know you want to :)

  • Lights are always either on my bike or in my bag, looking forward to tomorrow.

  • Hell yeah, GSIAD done, I'm totally on this ride, Ditchling will be my bitchling. If I'm not there by 11 o'clock please start without me.

  • out,, just too much work on :/

looks like the weather won't be too bad either although a bit crap with the trains
    have fun all.

thinking is for losers. come ride (on whatever).

although he will probably try and make me go gay clubbing.

^homophobe. that's even worse than seal clubbing.

just ride to hayward heath or whatever it's called. No problem.

+1, what's another 15 miles? just have a pint and some food and we'll all be happy to ride to where the train service restarts

Well, I'm still in for 11am with a view that we can have a bag of chips and ride to HH for train back. Discuss.

    +1, as above
