Shame if it's pre-allocated, and you suddenly have extra funds paypal still takes the full lot from the pre-allocated. Had a refund to my account yesterday, now I need to find something else to buy :)

Stock Update:
Ladies UK 34 - SOLD OUT
Ladies UK 36 - 1 in stock
Ladies UK 38 - 1 in stock
Ladies UK 44 - SOLD OUTMens XS - 4 in stock
Mens S - 8 in stock
Mens M - 21 in stock
Mens L - 18 in stock
Mens XL - 2 in stock
Mens XXL - 1 in stockSo the fringe sizes are pretty low in stock, and the Mens Large is selling slightly faster than everything else.
AFAIK we're still on track for them arriving in a couple of weeks, but I'll attempt to get something close to an exact date this week.
Oh, and you may have noticed that I took out a front page advert on LFGSS for the jerseys, just to help sell the last of them all.

Did you have to pay yourself for the advert?
-
• #405
Yes.
And as it wouldn't let me use the primary account to book an advert, I had to setup a whole separate PayPal and account to do so. Freaking hassle it was.

Ordered a medium a few days ago, but after trying on some full-length-zip jerseys I think i may actually need a large, does anyone want to do a pre-emptive swap? Or is there any way to change the order?
-
• #407
I think a few people may be in that boat so I anticipate a Swapsies thread arising once the jerseys have been posted.
-
• #408
Yes.

I rather imagined you would do it all above board.
What a pain.

I might have the same problem. My pot belly renders all my jerseys small, regardless of the actual size.

Just to let you all know that I'm having to take payment today.
When I set up the shop I did think it took payment automatically, but then noticed that it simply "authorised" payments but didn't take it. That was cool, better for you that didn't actually take the money until the jersey was dispatched.
Unfortunately PayPal stipulates that authorisation can only last 3 days, and that as a merchant there is a limit on the number of transactions that are in the authorised but not paid state.
So I basically have to take the money now, even though it still is only a little bit before the jerseys arrived and get dispatched.
based on this^ should i be worried if the funds havent left my account yet?
edit: thats bank account i mean, i guess (hope) theres just a few days delay from LFGSS < Paypal < Bank

You shouldn't be worried, but if you give me your order number I can verify for you that I've received the money.
I can say now that for every order I have a record of, payment HAS been received.
So no-one need worry.
What happened was that I thought an authorisation could be left in that state for a couple of weeks, but apparently they're only good for a very short amount of time and for a low-ish value.
An authorisation is a guarantee from PayPal that they will cover the amount authorised, and as you might imagine they don't guarantee a lot.
If it's not yet gone from your bank account, that's probably more to do with the bank holidays slowing down the reporting of it, I can say that I already have the cash at my end.

I can't remember if you've spoken to the manufacturer of the LFGSS cap, did they says anything about the dodgy elastic?
-
• #424
Yup, they're wanting a sample of a failed cap (easy to come by), and new caps will have a few little changes to the materials in some parts, and will take 4-5 weeks to produce.
Meeting next week to discuss it

Why should they? They're not too proud to take money from a man with his trousers round his ankles.
Pretty much.
I live in fear of PayPal shutting us down. I have a rule that any time there is more than £500 in the account I have to withdraw to the bank. It's the only reason I feel at ease enough to continue using them.
