The only problem clothing the chubbies is the amount of material you have to use.
-
• #1128
naw fatty's are like extended versions of DVD's they claim to have a lot more material but in fact it's only a really tiny amount stretched as thinly as possible.

Back to ponies?

Did you see that story about Japans last living ninja? He was complaining that he could make the traditional poisons but he wasn't allowed to try them out on anyone.
-
• #1132
lol!!! Hopefully he recorded all of the information for future generations seperated by the ages, hidden in a secret monestary.

I like the old design, it stands out and is different.
Another 'classic' cycling rip off is the last thing we need and is as clive says far from representative of this forum (humour and not taking one's self too seriously would be my description of the design)...
You know sometimes it's okay not to be the most controversial/hip kid on the block.
Just keep it simple, no more aerospokes that are crossed out etc
I don't want to look like some pro cyclist, but I clearly haven't reached your nirvana of not taking life too seriously, and do care what I wear when I go out.

^ and i know someone here who wanted so much to look like a pro!

Another forum clothing thread reminded me to come here and air my views regarding the forum jersey.
It is an abomination, farr farrr too much going on,
why put aerospokes on then cross them out. Shit, why put them there at all?
Use the forum search? Seriously?
so many unecessary designs, e.g. shark teeth in the armpits, all three pockets etcNext design really needs to be kept simple, and classy
"stay classy, LFGSS"
End your posts with an Achorman quote = voids your opinion.

I love the arrospokes crossed out, it's a kind of forum joke. Unlike the british bulldog etc.

Sorry is this sarcasm? I was referring to the comment about "another classic cycling rip off"

Ermm, noted?

I'm also curious as to why there's 7 spoks, arrange in a way that looks to me as if there should be 9 (3x3 spok square)
Currently there's two rows of three, then one on its own?

apologies if i'm pointing out the obvious but they're meant to be part of the fighter plane theme of the design akin to victory tallies which were painted onto vehicles in wars.

I never did get what WW2 plane nose art had to do with riding bikes.
I always hated this jersey. So garish and loud.

what do duff beer or marmite to do have with cycling? they're both popular jersey designs
-
• #1141
I'm just fuckin with ya V.
I like how the jersey was different. But hey, can't please everyone.
BRING ON THE NEW DESIGN!

• #1142
^^^^Thanks, I hadn't realised actually, it makes sense!
I'm still not a fan, but I understand why they're there now,
^gotcha

Also be aware that the jersey was designed by one of us.
-
• #1144
I still think the jersey is f'ing awesome :)
And I think it was well executed.
I don't mind that it doesn't appeal to all... I wanted something different rather than a black jersey with a white/blue line across the middle with LFGSS written on it.
More people would have purchased that I'm sure... but then we're just the same as Waffa.
I really wanted different, I wanted forum humour, and I loved what we got.

• #1145
Maybe we need to take them on at their own game then?
More suffering.
More black and white.
More moody caffeine intake.

£280 for a jersey.

And I wouldn't be seen dead in either of those.
You sold all the big ones and few of the small ones right?
So screw the skinnies, clothe the chubbies... win win.
Also, how about a few forum caps that fit those of larger bonce? I got one of the second run and it barely fit, never wore it and is now misplaced... not catering for those of larger cranium is serious discrimination... I know there are at least 5 of us on here!
