I've found shorts either make or ruin comfort. If you get the right ones they are amazingly comfy, almost can't ride without them, but if you get ones with a pad thats the wrong size/ wrong place its like riding on a bunched up towel :/
I find padded saddle + padded shorts = numb bum
The padding is there to compensate for poor fit really. So a lightly padded, well fitted, saddle and the best bibs you can afford, is the ultimate combo. But for a commuter/workhorse, its nice to have some more padding for riding in jeans etc.

Well, managed to get hold of a MINT san marco Rolls, but upon it coming through the door thought it was a bit light, unwrapped and thought, mmm, looks really small, long, narrow nose, wrong shaped back end, exactly what I've already got and doesn't work for me. Grrrr.
Turns out its a Rolls 'Due', seller didn't know, and I didn't really pay attention to the photos that well.Anyone want to swap? A mint (bar one scuff) Rolls Due with gold rails and patterned/mottled black leather for a similar looking Rolls classic?

anyone know where I can buy a black turbo (new) online anywhere? Everywhere seems to be out of stock, waiting for the new year's revision.
cheers
