Cool, cheers for the update Harry - I assume you meant "the TB14 has nothing in common with the Open Pro, no?
If not then i am confuse.
We will be announcing prices in the next few days.
Stock will be availible from Brick Lane Bikes and all good dealers from Friday. You heard it here first.
P.S. the TB14 has little in common with the TB14, other than it being a shallow section rim. The TB14 is something quite different - in both ride, finish, shape, construction, look and feel.

Yeah, whoops. What an idiot.

Can people actually feel any difference between the Open Pro and TB14?
I somewhat doubt it, as long it's round, light and can hold the tyres, I'm game.

I think while braking there is quite a big difference.

Is the sidewall machined? can't really tell as it look like wear from the brake.

To my surprise, they're all machined. Sidewalls match the rim colour though if you're not running brakes.

They look cool but are they actually any good?
Who cares? They look cool!

Put my order in at Tokyo yesterday, just waiting for them to be built. Like a child at christmas at the moment, especially as my old wheelset is so haggered.

I put in an order for some on Thursday. I was slightly worried that the polished ones would look pretty much the same as the Velo Orange PBP rims but they do look a lot lower profile and racier, ( is that a word? Probably not) so there is a marked difference. Looking forward to getting them in about a week. Got a new job recently too so I'm getting them laced to some Dura-Ace 7600's as a present to myself.
Scobalism?
