You may be able to sell them on bblist or eBay, not sure of the going rate for a digi beta these days. Any collages that do broadcast courses near by that may take them ???

If you ever need a writer for branded docs, commericals, shorts etc, gimme a shout.
I worked in agencies for around 8 years, I now freelance with production companies and the BBC in Manchester. Mostly screenwriting, script editing and just brain-farting ideas.
Most recently worked on some Children in Needs ads and (a small part in ) a cocaine trade documentary.

Sounds gnarly, could be keen...
I’ve done a few docos but mostly music and branded content, what’s the story for this? Can suggest some good DOP/ops too

Will look into the college route. Looking on eBay don't seem to be worth much, and the postage would be a killer as they're pretty heavy.
Editor friend says they are worthless so may as well bin them... holding fire on that for the time being.. -

Any FS7 owner ops available this Thurs in London? Mine has just dropped out and need someone in his stead. Would rent and do it myself but needs a spare pair of hands for audio wrangling (static cam, main job is mixing different wireless mics - up to 4 while using the K2M unit). 8am-1pm in Fenchurch St.

Cheers, will keep in mind - needs to be an FS7 this time as I need 4 channels of audio in-camera for the edit and also fed out to a live stream.

Just popping this in here... Do any of the production companies you work with ever need safety/rescue teams for high level or water based filming? I'm part of a technical rope rescue team and am also level four water rescue technician and rescue boat operator.
I could muster a team together for any high level filming, underground stuff, or water/bridge based.Just throwing it out there....

About to get a quote from a company we use for in car filming 3-4 cameras either go pro or gh4’s, time code locked, with audio for 3-4 people, seperate monitoring in a follow car and some go pros on external mounts as well.
Anyone done this to a high level and has own kit to set up? Will be filming in the U.K. as well as Europe from January to May would be about 4 shoot days with possible set up days depending on timings..
Shooting with a footballer and fans in back of moving vehicle.
Let me know.
Thanks -

for the Go pros i know im probably telling you what you already know but really try to get a good time stamp & clap at the start of recording, all the gopro footage ive dealt with in post never synced well and had no time codes so we were left grouping by footabe by eye,
that problem is made so much easier in post with time stamp and clap.Bain of my freelance edit assistant time was geordie shore gopro syncing with in house cam footage by eye.....soul destroying
good luck with the shoot sounds interesting in car karaoke in a football chant style ?

Any freelance 3D wizards around this weekend?
Have a couple of projects being worked on with C4D using RedShift - my guy has suffered a bereavement so I'm obviously not going to chase him. I have access to project files and assets.
Project 1:
Need a couple of ribbons built and then brought into AE with some masks (so the ribbons can appear to fly between objects). These were done in C4D but don't see why they can't be built in AE (though perhaps a bit more work to do it that way in order to replicate appearance/style of existing ribbons).Project 2:
The more urgent of the two. A bit of re-timing to match a voice for a 3 min vid. Relinking media (currently have stills on screen to speed up renders ahead of approval. Now we need those stills replaced with video files) A bit of re-framing of the camera as well (just zooming in on a few sequences). Not big bucks but PM me a rate if you're around before Monday. I'm guessing Project 2 is going to be a BIG render so you'd probably want to get the files tonight to work on them tomorrow and render most of the day Sunday as the plan was to show the client the latest cut EOP Monday.

If anyone is looking, we've just invested in a bunch of live equipment. Doing quite a lot of streaming (though have broadcast exp too) for clients lately with graphics/multi cam stuff so if anyone has any work we'd be happy to quote. Similarly if anyone needs any advice - have spent more time than is healthy researching how to put together a flypack so happy to bend ears etc.

Any FS7 owners on here? Have a very, very dull but fairly short day next Thursday and my guy has just dropped out - everyone else seems busy.

no worries, if you want one I can give you a new order discount code, £20 I think
Not what you're looking for unfortunately, I'm a stills photographer but that sounds like a great opportunity. I'd be happy to be a some kind of assistant
