I've only just got home from a party way later and more refreshed than planned. Currently am so full of dutch courage I'm all "Swains Lane? Bring it the fuck on...who even cares I've got to cycle a good ten miles to the start with what will probably be a awful hangover. Tiger blood! Rah! etc etc"

Of course, when I wake up in a bit and if a) it's raining I'll wuss out and b) re-read the above I'll be making my excuses about why I'm not there.

@dicki rapper dancing is a sort of folk dance, a bit like morris but more gritty, northern and hard, less hey nonny nonny. They have these flexible sword things called rappers, which they keep hold of and get all tangled up and throw mad shapes and whatnot. Comes from the north east.
