Fallers stick together, safety in numbers.
You just want to fall on top of someone.

You riding in from Crouch End Yas? We're thinking of doing a Norths breakfast then feeder ride to the start if you want to join.

BOLLOX.
With all this bank holiday nonsense it turns out I need to be at work till 2 o'clock. Anyone got any ideas how long will each stop be? This means Souths is out for me but will you still be in the Roebuck? Or would a splash and dash in each pub in order till I catch up be the right thing to do?

• #259
no idea :( will need to know too :)

Head to the Flask and line the drinks up for the rest of us would be my suggestion.

I recall Jonny buying a round for the Guinness ride, and on another occasion JCGarcia not only buying the whole ride a round but phoning ahead to have them set up on the bar for our arrival.
Magnificent gestures each but not sure I could afford to follow suit, my children need to eat (I don't have children (but if I did they would need to eat so my point stands)).

I should be along with the group provided my illness doesn't get worse. Can always txt me and I'll let you know where we are. Afaik, JC/Betty might join at Easts for a bit via the same method

If the weather's shite, I will probably skip the C&H. Bit too far out for me if it's raining.
I will try to intercept the procession at the Roebuck. -

As the folks from Norths usually turn up before the folks at South-Easts, shouldn't the route be:
Souths
Norths
South-Easts
Easts
Wests
CentralI mean, I hope the order wasn't chosen because it's the shortest. Real cyclists wouldn't do that, would they?

• #268
Surely it should be;
Souths
South-Easts
Easts
Norths
Wests
Central -

Epic chronological order fail.

I was being lazy and pushing the shortest route!
If timing works out I'll try to get back from Cambridge and ride straight to the Hoebuck for a pint of Ubu and some forum love. Would one of you lovely South Easties drop me a text when you're on your way there?
All dependent on me setting off to Cambs early. Aiming to be there and back by 1pm...
