remember the route from pub to pub is up to each individual. will be wacky racer style no doubt.
Right...so it isn't riding en mass from pub to pub? More everyone catches each other up style? Or do people tend to fall into groups of equal abilities/speed?
swains is the way to go when heading north though.
I could just about manage Swains when I had 12 gears at my disposal, with just the one? I'm more likely to be walking up with The Lush if I come along.

No shame in walking Swains although West Hill is easier.*
*As a north drinker I'm obliged to ride Swains but will wait at the top to guide any walkers to the pub.

There is a great shame in walking Swains Lane. :)
I will try and join you for the North Drinks leg. Any ideas what time you might be at the flask? -

Poots, if you make it to Saafs, I am sure we will be riding as a squad, a la Guinness stylie. Pretty sure I will be on for this, but just need to confirm with the Senior Partner...
Gents, have we a tentative start time from Saafs famous Coach and Horses?

midday bernie, midday sir.
as for the riding between pubs it does tend to form in to splinter (nearly wrote sprinter!) groups. makes for safey and choice of pace. regroup and re G at each pub.
murtle will rattify but the central pub at the end will be the Lamb.

cheers Jonny, great to see you on Friday for another quiet, reflective soirée.
Poots, I will be cruising and chilling between venues, so don't worry about being Billy no Mates. We have a chip connection, afterall.

I shall be pootling between venues too as my new bike doesn't do corners due to horrific toelap.

You riding in from Crouch End Yas? We're thinking of doing a Norths breakfast then feeder ride to the start if you want to join.

Bless you! Am as yet undecided - am dj'ing at a mate's birthday the night before so will have a think about whether I'm going to be in any state to cycle/if I'd rather ride all day sat or lie in bed feeling sorry for myself.
Hmm...when I think about it like that, the choice seems clear, eh? The chips are on me this time, rather than in me ; )

Pootling is clearly the new black....and if there's going to be a North's feeder ride may come along wth you if that's ok?

Cheer up, Ian.
Maybe, just maybe, you will not end up breaking something. -

not this time he won't

If we're talking skin, minutes ago. Bones, and we're into many months now. I'll try to keep it that way as the better one would kill me after last time.

I know the feeling. Not sure if riding with you will make it easier or harder ;-)
Fallers stick together, safety in numbers. Or is it statistically less likely.
Or better to be at the other end of the pack...
I think i will just happily ride with you. Been a while too
